Great video Jaby and Achara! I have 2 links for you to check out. One of it is another ‘Vice’ documentary of a group in the south of India who are increasing awareness of the evils of caste in our society. They are creating quite a stir in the society and they have a strong voice. These videos will help to further your understanding of the layers that exist in India and how people are struggling as a result of years of oppression. Also the other link is a rap song from a new breakout artist ‘Arivu’ from the south. https://youtu.be/yCX_x8eVSvM https://youtu.be/aKanKNT8R38 Thanks and enjoy!

So bloody glad you checked out this vice video and this after my last comment (which I am sure you didn’t notice , let alone reading it)on your city slum reaction , now you have reference points and benchmark on what next to react to. By the way I am a 70’s kid and used to be a hardcore Rocker , mid 80’s and 90’s growing up in Mumbai was very much part of the underground Rock n Metal scene, Rock Machine later rechristened (Indus Creed) were the pioneers and later followed by Pentagram,Indian Ocean,PUNKH to name a few you can research and check them out, will share more info in greater detail later...InshaAllah..

Just to give a small context, not sure if you caught it. When they were talking about Gari-B, it referred to Gareebi which translates to poverty. And they are going with F the Gari-B/ F the Poverty.

Bollywood is doing shit they don't care about these people they only care about money.... that's why they only keep pushing Punjabi rappers...and most of the Punjabi rappers only raps about girls, cars, money and shits.
