That cow thing is just not true. And I don't like spicy food much. My mom's tolerance for spice might as well be at par with Americans. But not every Indian dish is spicy as well. So we just skip the ones that are too spicy or make them mild.

Jaby: "If Japanese were translated to English that would be Indian English" Well, the Indian english you talk about is kinda that way, where people form sentences in the native language and then translate it as it comes out their mouths. And someone who studied Japanese for a year, it's sentence structure is very similar to Indian languages.

We have fanta and Miranda both. Is Fanta a thing? Kind of... Coke and Fanta is what you typically serve to guests when they come home... It's not something ppl get excited about. It's a staple item same as other soft drinks.

Not every person in India eats or likes the same level of spiciness, different regions in India have different thresholds for food to be considered as 'Spicy'. Foods considered as spicy in one region are considered not in others.

I'm a student of Japanese language and Japanese and Hindi have the exact same sentence structure gramatically. I get why Jaby would think about that similarity. But our spoken English is still much much better than the Japanese :P Their English sounds like gibberish (speaking from personal experience).
