Yes!!! Some music videos age well. This is one of them. Also, the guy in the red shirt is Prabhu Deva's brother irl, also a dancer and choreographer.

Atlast:):):). I have been asking for this for so long Thank you so much for reacting to my recommendation:). You guys are awesome:).

Here's more trivia for you, 1. This was Shankar's first movie and is considered a classic crime thriller. 2. The Red shirt guy who dances in between is Raju Sundaram, Prabhu Deva's elder brother who is also one of the biggest Choreographers in India. (Their whole family is a dance family, much like the Jackson 5) 3. One of PD's recent songs( u have already reacted to that in Patreon) with Amy Jackson ends in the train station with Raju Sundaram and is a callback to this song after almost 30 years. 4. This movie also started the Shankar-ARR combo which still continues today.

Fun fact... His elder brother Raju Sundaram, who is also a renowned choreographer, makes a cameo in the song ( the guy dancing in red shirt at 4:00 min and Prabhudeva was jealous of him)

I remember this lol. I am a Punjabi and my father was stationed in Tamil Nadu for work and we did not speak a lick of Tamil. This and Muqala Muqabala were the rage in the Tamil industry and this song wud be on TV all the time. I was a four year old and used to sing the gibberish version of the song. It was catchy af. This was subsequently dubbed in Hindi and became popular nationwide.AR Rahman's ability to captivate audiences with off beat music beyond linguistic barriers.

That’s the magic of music and A.R. Rahman! I can totally imagine you now as a four year old busting out moves and singing gibberish 😊

No one mentioned that this was Prabhu Deva's debut on screen. His first ever appearance in a movie. Although he featured only in this song in the entire movie but this song ended up being the highlight of the movie and PD was an overnight superstar.

You are amazed watching this now. Imagine we watching this back in 93. It was madness.

You should check out "Metro Channel". That was one of his first songs. If this was fluid, Metro Channel is legendary.

Nazeer Ahmed Shaik

That's Prabhu Deva's brother. That red shirt dude with whom Prabhu Deva was feeling jealous in this song. He's also a good dancer.
