This movie needed to be made in a very different way without exploiting the viewers' vulnerabilities and still not giving a payoff or a message that hits hard. It's a good story and plot but they could have just started the film at a different point, like Steph said. For someone to like this film bcoz of blind people's representation or just to see Hrithik's performance is fine. But to recommend it to someone else so you can see them react to rape and then to an overtly long and somewhat unrewarding revenge story is sort of weird. I'm wondering why recommenders wanted to see someone react to this. Was it just to see another performance of Hrithik or is it more? For example, I get why Indians would want to see foreigners react to Sardar Udham. Because you want the world to know about Jallianwala Bagh and Sardam Udham itself. But what did you want out of reactors here- did you just want to see their shock and horror? Coz the revenge story, though clever in theory, wasn't written or edited well. It was quite tacky. And that dance number was in absolute poor taste. They weren't showing the villains in that song, they were showing Urvashi Rautela's body. Again, I understand somebody personally liking this film but to recommend it to someone else so that you can watch their reaction to this is strange. Funnily enough, other films with this subject matter or similar subject matters have not annoyed me the way this one has.
