You should checkout part of the franchise, but not all of it. The first Transformers is great, but after that Michael Bay loses track of story and character and Transformers become just a lot of explosions and special effects. The franchise became great again once Michael Bay gave up directing the franchise and just became a producer and rebooted the franchise with Bubblebee. Transformers films that you should watch next should be Bumblebee (2018 which was directed by Travis Knight) and Transformers Rise of the Beasts (2023 which was directed by Steven Caple Jr.) because they put character and story back at the forefront again. Also, Bumblebee has Hailee Steinfeld and John Cena in it. Also, Transformers Rise of the Beasts (the sequel to Bumblebee) stars Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback.

Love the pair of you. Such fun reactions! If you’re having fun, feel free to continue series. I think Bumblebee is the best of all of the live action stuff and it’s a prequel to this and sort of stands alone so you can choose to watch it whenever. There is an animated movie from the 80s which is my personal favorite but may or may not be your cup of tea. One thing to note if you do continue is to forget about continuity. The origin and timing of the Transformers arriving on Earth changes pretty much every movie. Oh, and the series started as a cartoon to sell toys (really fun toys).
