July has started, and with it comes some news!

  • The Slime Studies series was an idea I had when reading a Japanese Pixiv story about slimes failing to divide. It was done in a sort of research paper style, like the actions were being observed by some sort of slime researcher. That made me wonder about how else slime girls might reproduce and it led to the start of this series. To start this one off I posted two tales at the same time (which I probably won't try again because it ended up with such a long period without having posted anything), but I'll talk about them individually in just a bit.
  • The default answer I tend to think of with slime reproduction is splitting and fusing, so for these first two that's what I focused on. Reproductive Patterns of the Strawberry Slime is focused on the splitting half, showing slimes that are trying but failing to split into two. My mind was really focused on the biology as I wrote it, thinking about how the process would realistically work and be described without sounding too complicated. It was certainly a new experience.
  • Reproductive Patterns of the Jellyfish Slime focuses on the fusion then. A type of fight I enjoy but haven't really written many stories about is absorption battles, or two forces trying to consume each other only to completely fuse by the end. Since a slime would essentially eat through absorption (it makes the most logical sense considering they're made of slime) and some species are known for eating the mate after reproduction (I mentioned them in the story) a setup was obvious from the start.
  • Away from the Slime Studies now, there was also Battle Across Time. I wrote this originally to take advantage of an ontological paradox, intending to make one of those scenes where one girl has the advantage only for the other to turn the tides but with no clear say of who was first. That ended up with this entire story here. The image was loosely based off the final scene, so I wanted to give it a somewhat magical look and feel to it. I ended up using a frame from Hell's Paradise's opening for the background, and basically everything is glowing a bit now, but I'm honestly a bit shocked with how magical I was able to make it. It my be my favorite of the images I've made so far, but who knows? Maybe I'll make something just as magical in the future.
  • Mirror Match's third anniversary is coming up, which feels unreal. It feels like I started writing these sexfight stories just yesterday, but at the same time feels like something I've done forever. It feels weird that it's been three years already, and I guess I have a certain virus to thank for that. We've already come so far, let's look forward to what's to come!
  • I recently watched Hanaukyo Maid Team, an early 2000s ecchi harem anime about a ton of maids, and it feels like this anime has a lot of untapped fight potential. I want to make some of the maids fight if that wasn't clear. Look out for it soon.
  • Recently started Clone High, it's a really funny show. That's all. Just felt like mentioning it.

So yeah. Hope you enjoy!
