A little obsessed with tracing images onto cubes and going from there. A digression from working on a commission that also involves a lot of tracing, creating logos and things to stick on a big fat mech.

This digression became an Idol of the Split-Headed Mendicant, though someone pointing out that Hylics also has an appreciation for the big Leonora Carrington horizontal moon heads and so I had to look  for another angle.

"Idol of the Split-Headed Mendicant, a worshiper of the Imperishable who maintained the naive Moon faiths. The weight of conflicting ideas grew so terrible that their skull was crushed, their eyeballs fell from their head and their jaw and nose were swallowed by their throat"

t's fun free style worldbuilding like you're the chubby old man hired by From Software), a little thing in the world that houses the various fantasy-y things and that zine project.

The worship of the Imperishable is a kind of gnostic monotheism, the veneration of a bound Prometheus figure impotently raging against a demiurge whose children and servitors are the various divine beings you'd expect in any pagan pantheon: moon, sun, storms, etc.

Snakes, birds, moons, humans with no heads or strange substitutions are what I want to more of in this world. A kind of ethnography of statues and items, with no people presented so far directly.
