January Recap + Pausing Custom Videos For February (Patreon)

January has been a crazy month for VR ASMR! Here are some awesome things that happened in January =>

1) We reached 1k subscribers/4k watch hours and got monetized! This means that Youtube will share 55% of the ad money it makes off my videos. This is ~$1 per 1000 views

2) We recently hit 4k subscribers. Thanks to Quest 2 sales over the holidays, we are growing much faster than before

3) We have our first 8k video up on the channel! The quality has exceeded my expectations. Check out this post if you haven't already: link.

I've said this before: VR ASMR is an expensive hobby for me. However, thanks to your support through Patreon (and some ad money through Youtube) it looks like the channel should be able to break even in a few months!

Continuing into February, I hope to post at a consistent schedule. This has been hard for me to do while adjusting to the insane 100+ hr rendering times for videos taken on the new 8K camera. Because of this, I am pausing the Custom Video (BFF) tier on Patreon for February. 

If you are currently at the BFF tier:

- Patreon will place you in a "no tier" status for February and allow you to select a new tier to join

- You will not be charged for the BFF tier in February  (if you are, it will be refunded)
