This episode really threw me nicely back into the shock factor of this world building HAHAHAHA

Just a note: Barbara Gordon is voiced by Briana Cuoco... Kaley Cuoco (Harley Quinn)'s sister! Hahaha. Love that.

Yup yup! In the DC Universe, Barbara Gordon is Batgirl. And no, definitely not the last you'll see of her. Her brand of no killing no swearing vigilante-ism is a fun foil to Harley's... well... Harley style. Now you have me thinking if there's a male character in this series (aside from King Shark) you'll actually like... And I am drawing a blank. They have their moments, but by and large, most of the guys in this show are just simply unlikable. And yeah, Riddler calling them out was more savage than it needed to be. Funny, and not wrong, but he really went for the throat.

When I first watched this episode I was convinced it was just Kaley. I had to look it up!

"The campus is very questionable..." that pun was so bad that Elijah spontaneously groaned, but doesn't know why. Mosco: "Oh, boy, I hope this season has less of Clayface's annoying method acting." Writers: "Oh don't worry, we'll come up with something that annoys you even more." Kite Man: "Hell yeah!" The oracle tells me that Barbara Gordon does, in fact, become Batgirl. But not Batwoman because that's a different canon.

Jenny D

Mosco convincing herself that Clayface isn’t Stephanie, when a real Stephanie would have no reason to vouch for “Heather and Isadora.” 😂 I hope she spends the rest of the episode in denial!

Jenny D

Yeah, Babs loves Batman almost as much as her dad does.

I like Clayface for the most part. Bane is my favorite male character, then King Shark, then Clayface, and I think that’s about it.

We tried to put my hamster in a ball once when I was a kid. The poor little guy was obviously terrified so we immediately took him out. It seemed like a safe way for him to run around the house, but in retrospect it is just a bad idea.

"You need the tour guide? Then let's go kil— GET her! Let's go get her."

interesting that I seem to recall joker explicitly mentioning the event that created oracle in a previous episode, wonder if she just...got better, or if that was somebody else in this canon (mind you i've only seen the first 2 seasons so maybe that gets addressed, or maybe it's just a continuity error)

Ron Funches is delightful. I always loved when he'd be on episodes of @midnight. I hope he shows up for the relaunch.

It does highlight how well what's actually going on is working though. That clayface is getting lost in the role and becoming stephanie rather than playing a character. He did it so well Mosco thought it was a separate character (as did I the first time I watched the episode)

I appreciate the PSA about proper rodent care! Honestly I’m surprised they even still make those metal ones, though I’ve never seen one with the Riddler’s design before.

That stuff Bane's goons injected themselves with is a drug called Venom. Think steroids but it works instantly and is 100 times worse. It's how Bane gets his super strength and rage. In fact, he's so reliant on the stuff that he has tanks of it strapped to his back with tubes from it permanently attached to his muscles.
