All aboard the sad train! Looking forward to next week when Catra realizes she's a bad friend and becomes an apprentice to Kyle who teaches her about friendship

Christopher Bouzas

Can’t wait for next episode, easily top 3 episodes in the entire show. My dog seems to love Sea Hawks shanties

Ryan Porter

Oh, Seahawk. At least he tried... This episode ends on a sunset. This is foreshadowing. Dark times are coming. You should vacuum before your next She-Ra reaction. Wait, you asked for happy fake spoilers. Um... Madam Razz opens a bakery selling First Ones' Pies; Mara taught her the recipe. Catra accidentally falls into another universe and gets some much needed therapy from one Dr Harlene Quinzell, Princess of Good Life Choices. No, wait, you asked us to lie to you. Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after...

Oh how fun it is to fight with friends! I like how you are just completely done with Seahawk's shenanigans. His heart is in the right place, but his brain is missing :P But hey, at least it worked out in the end *cough*. I love the interactions between Mermista and Seahawk. Remember how she acted like she couldn't stand him in season 1? This episode shows how she really feels about him. And yeah, its heartbreaking to watch the Best Friend Squad fall apart. Especially Bow. He gives so much and receives rather little in return. That kind of dynamic cannot last forever, and it looks like Bow has reached his limit. At least Adora did try to stand up for him at the start of the episode... As for 'that' moment between Glimmer and Adora, it becomes even worse when you remember that Adora literally watched Queen Angella sacrifice herself. She basically watched Angella die. Adora even wanted to be the one to sacrifice herself, but Angella stopped her. So for Glimmer to essentially put the blame for Angella's death on Adora...that's low... Next episode is my favorite She-Ra episode! I really can't wait for your reaction to it.

Well that was a lovely breather episode.... Oh wait never mind

Happy/Cute/Funny moments coming up? I can do that: *Hordak learns how to wink, and is astonished at the happy thrill it gives him; Kyle is promoted above Catra for teaching him. *Someone slips a pie onto She-Ra's chair. The stains are permanent, so She-Ra has to make a new outfit. *Glimmer takes another trip to Mystacor (cf ep. 1x7) to learn more about her long-lost father; finds the joke book he left behind. *Catra adopts an emotional support animal. *Scorpia re-emerges as a nightclub singer; Perfuma hears her sing and falls in love. Emily officiates their wedding. *Bow's dads arrange a LARP for him and his siblings. *Lonnie, Kyle, and Rogelio form a polyamorous triad. *Mara drops by for a chat with Adora; turns out they have a lot in common. Emily officiates their wedding.

The number of times you are going to be saying " (Insert name here) NO!" over the rest of this season. Oh boy.

Production_Run

Glimmer clearly realized she'd gone too far, but Mermista interrupted before she could apologize. By the time the fight was over, Adora had too long for resentment to set in for any attempt at reconciliation from Glimmer to work. But hey, it'll all be fine once Glimmer and Catra win an all expenses paid trip to a five-star luxury resort and have such a good time that they decide to make peace.

I loved your reaction to this. Luckily this is the low point - after everyone realizes how badly they've messed up their friendships, Double Trouble manages to get everyone talking, Unfortunately Hordak tries to crash the Princess Party at the end of the season. I love that this episode was so popular that season 5 is one long musical episode in thirteen parts. So good!

Just get yourself some tea for the episode(s) coming up (won't say which one(s).) And a snack. ... Mayhaps some pie?

JHB

"Seahawk... NO!" I don't know why I didn't see that coming. Maybe because he usually rates a forehead-slap rather than verbalizing.

Andi

The Buffy Quote was unexpected but I appreciate it.

JHB

"Great big fucking cock-wart." God, I love Scottish curse-outs. I feel so stunted in comparison.

JHB

(scrambles over to NetFlix to refresh my memory of what the next episode is) Oh, geez. Hamish, get ready to do your thing.

JHB

Hmmm, what episode is it where the She-Ra-mobile turns up?. It's a little different from the 80's toy, but they worked in all that stuff, one way or another. And we finally see Madam Razz's friend Lookey on screen.

calcifer

NOBODY in the Horde noticed Scorpia was gone. On the Horde ship, Octavia was also trying to talk to her through the comm badge. Fun fun parallels of friends being forgotten about and left to the wayside..........

* Hordak dyes his hair * The Best Friend Squad has a movie night where they set up a projector in Mara's ship and watch romcoms * Frosta becomes a professional athlete and everyone goes to her first big game to support her * Light Hope chills the fuck out for once * Razz discovers the TARDIS

Childofthestars111

So excited for next episode, it’s fucking incredible. My favorite part was when Adora got Razz confused with this old lady from the horde. It really brought down the mood that they showed the old lady dying though. Pity.

Some happy things that happen over the course of the series: Adora takes up skydiving Catra finally becomes housebroken Scorpia discovers a talent for improv comedy Netossa and Spinerella have a big wedding Entrapta comes out as bi and polyam Kyle and Rogelio adopt a child together Hordak learns how to make bao, and develops a signature broth for it.

Tabatha Cat

It's not, "Glimmer, no!" It's "Dammit, Glimmer!" I enjoyed your reaction very much, as always.

Tammy Ragsdale

Don't worry, nothing much happens the next episode. It's just about Adora baking a pie. For some reason, it's a fan favorite.

SweetCandle

As out of place as it is with the emotional themes of the rest of the season, it's a really good recipe.

SweetCandle

Scorpia and Bow have given into despair. In the next episode, Hordak throws a surprise party, Catra helps other people without any thought of herself, and everyone treats Kyle with respect.

JHB

Hey! Did you even try that pie? Binging With Babish had an episode on it. It's an awesome pie.

Catradora fan

Catra: "I thought winning would feel... different" Gee I wonder what that tells you about her character 🤔🤔

Dan_Ganing_Fan

Everything Bow said about friendship in this episode was correct. Bow has been an aboslutely great friend to everyone the entire show and as soon as he did something wrong, he would recognize it and immediately apologize. The problem that Bow recognized in this episode is that he is the only person willing to work for a friendship a lot of the time, and he expects nothing in return. He puts his own feelings aside for things to work out, and now he realizes that isn't healthy.

Peluche

don't worry! the next episode is sweet as pie! you don't have to worry about a thing :)))))))))))

Joey Quixote

Finally caught up! Holiday hectic-ness. Yeah... Glimmer went too far. I dunno if I could have forgiven after that. I forgot about that line being in this episode. And as much as it hurts, I'm happy this didn't resolve after they all worked together. This is a very real representation of fighting with a friend. Hey "Fighting with friends is fun!" I loved Bow getting a chance to shine here. Not as his normal peacekeeping self, but exposing the hurt and conflict just under the surface. He's such a good dude, tries so hard to look out for his friends, when at times they don't make it easy for him. He's so much more than just support.
