Video file has finished optimizing. Still need to upload and wait for processing on the host side, so my guess-timate on video availability is 3 hrs or so.

Enjoy!

So I don't know if you watch the NBA or not, but it seems not cuz the best bar on Dance Now is the "Imma bare it all when I'm tellin God/You know Imma rant when I talk to Ja" and it didn't seem like it registered. First, Ja Morant is the star player for the Memphis Grizzlies & obviously a Grizzly is a kind of bear ("bare it all"). Then the second line "You know I'm Morant/Imma rant when I talk to Ja", Ja as in "Ja-hova(Jehova)" aka God. So he could be saying he rants when he talks to Jehova/God, or that he is at his best (like the star of a team aka Ja Morant) when he talks to God. When I first played the album it was that line that made me stop and say "Oh okay he RAPPIN RAPPIN on this album" lol

Really? Raydar wasn't rapping rapping to you? It was the ja morant line that did it? :|

YetiCoolBrother

Nah, it's not that Raydar wasn't good it's just as person who likes all of JID's stuff to me it sounded pretty in line with what I expect from him; which is great in and of itself. Dance Now was just alot catchier than he usually does and his flow was alot more measured & controlled than his usually "JIDdery" flow. Alot of guys that rap fast when you hear them slow it down it kind of reveals that they don't really be saying shit, but JID did it and still had bars on bars. Kind of caught me off guard and therefore was more impressive. Like JID's flow on Dance Now sounds closer to Cole's usual pace than his IMO.

Here’s one most people miss, in Crack Sandwich, “it’s like ten against twenty-three”, JID is painting a picture of being outnumbered in a fight and also comparing the fight to Dennis Rodman, #10 in Detroit, punching #23 Michael Jordan.

I feel very strongly that those other songs will grow on you even more, as well as the rest of the album as a whole. A lot of the questions you us about some of the stories have answers in the lyrics and have ties to other songs in the album.

Jacob Richards

I guess this album version of 2007 answers which sample they couldn't get cleared.
