Hi all, I hope you are all having a good October and are staying warm. Don't let a cold sneak up on you like it did to me!

Speaking of sneaking, this month's exclusive pose is lightly Halloween themed. The premise is that a friend is sneaking up on your character and giving them a jump scare. I think that the set-up pose and scare poses will have broad utility in a lot of different situations such as for sneaking, monster encounters, etc. I will also throw in a cute cat girl pose for those of you who want to dress up your honey for a Halloween render.

If some jump scare poses and a cat girl pose seems like an odd combo, its because I started off making a mini catgirl pose pack for this month's exclusive but found that the "catty" poses that I already have on offer are too similar, so I pivoted. One of the draft catgirl poses that I worked on was pretty good though.. and I didnt want to waste it, so I will be bundling that in.

The girl that I am showing today is a work-in progress version of November's girl, Crystal.

Crystal's final version will likely have dark hair and take advantage of one of Aquan's amazing new hair mods. Her exclusive variant will be an elf cosplay💖

In real life news, I recently decided to revive an ambition of mine from my teenage years. Its a niche thing called "Gunpla" and it stands for Gundam Plastic Models. When I was 13 I was super into this stuff and bought some cheap kits, but they looked like crap. I always dreamed of assembling the ultimate Gundam model. The dream took a backseat and quietly faded as I discovered the opposite sex though... until now.

As I continue my inexorable march through my 30s, I have realized that my hands are becoming progressively less steady with each year. I'm not sure if its an age thing or if its genetic, but as Gunpla is a hobby that requires sub-millimeter precision, I sense that my window for making this dream a reality is quickly closing. So I have taken the dive!

I had to hit like 5 different stores from across North America to finally assemble the tools that I need, but I finally have everything that I want to use to build my MGEX Strike Freedom Gundam. I will be learning the hobby and the various necessary techniques by putting together a 144 scale unicorn Gundam first. This will be a multi-month journey. My time in the studio eats up most of my free time and will always come first. Anyways, wish me luck!
