Orcs, Lizardman, Goblins, Kijin, and the Jura Forests Dryads were being represented in this meeting.

And, I started off things as I was in the leading seat with Rimuru laid out on my lap in her slime form. "Now that we are all together and calm... We will start out and say, there will be no further persecution with the Orcs, it's over."

The Orcs shifted in surprise looking at me with concern and a cough rang out as the lizardman chief spoke out with some annoyance. "Why should we let go of the losses of lives of Lizardmen we lost, at your word human."

I could hear Shion behind me hissing as the ground beneath her creaked as she put her weight and strength on the balls of her feet as she readied to cut down the lizardman at his rudeness but I raised a hand and responded bluntly. "Because the only voice monsters listen to is that of who is the strongest. I admit I am not as strong as Rimuru here, but regardless I am much more powerful than you."

The lizardman chief's face was still for a long moment before he nodded and said. "Very well then. My kin will not pursue the Orcs under your orders as you seem to have your own thoughts."

I gave a short nod as I looked away from him and looked towards the Orcs. "Indeed, in fact Rimuru here when she devoured Geld promised to help take care of the Orcs and in that vein... Will you all join the town we are building as you all will repay any sins you feel with the labor of building up something?" I asked the Orcs directly.

The leading orc who was apparently one of Geld's lieutenants spoke up with some anxious sweat on his face. "We... Yes! We will do our best!"

I heard Rimuru hum beneath me as she even piped up. "It's not like you guys have anywhere to go either, as I imagine you guys certainly aren't going to return to the desert and people working together is for the best."

And those words resounded with the others as Treyni the beautiful green-haired dryad spoke next. "Oh and so there is more Lord Rimuru?"

Rimuru visibly shivered being the target of focus so I coughed and took over the conversation as I said. "Indeed, with the help of the Orcs augmenting our population, we will be expanding greatly and in that same vein. We wish to ally with the rest of the major races here in the Jura forest as the Kijin will also remain with us."

The Lizardman chieftain with some interest in his voice then simply threw out. "An alliance between the major Jura Forrest monster races I imagine?"

"Correct." I responded.

There was a moment of silence as everyone digested that information until the leading Orc spoke up with clear hesitation but still determination as he asked. "And we the Orc's would be welcomed to this Alliance?"

I got that he was asking for clarification as the Orcs right now... Were still a mess internally so I gave him the assurance he needed. "Yes. We welcome the Orcs to this alliance and they will not face any discrimination."

With that said Treyni clapped her hands with a gentle smile across her face as she spoke with cheer in her voice. "Then what will this Alliance be named? And I understand food will be stretched thin so I can help with the help of my fellow dryads and other nature spirits to help the orcs be tided over for a good month so you all can prepare to gather more food."

Yeah... Remind me never to mess with Treyni as just the thought of her poisoning all our food subtly was a terrible thought as she could probably do some amount of floral control.

Either way I quickly answered rather than leaving people to think about some kind of weird name as I could feel Shion about to answer something. And if it came from Shion... Anything she cooked up would be terrible. "The Jura Alliance."

Treyni then stood up from her seat and her words carried a sense of finality in them as she spoke out. "Good, then as the caretaker of the Jura Forest, I Treyni pledge to acknowledge-"

'Here it comes.' I thought with smug joy imagining Rimuru flipping out at being named the chancellor of this alliance as the strongest member. And finally giving me peace and quiet to get back to my alchemy and working to reach the next stage of my Red Mage Pathway.

"Jake Barriss as the Chancellor of the Jura Alliance and Jura Forrest itself! With this alliance to be established under the direction of Chancellor Jake Barris."

At my completely flabbergasted appearance Treyni ever so helpfully added on. "You may not be as strong as Rimuru Jake, but you can actually deal with social situations or diplomacy while also being more than just a beat stick with your forbidden talent with alchemy that can give other monsters skills from what you make in potions!"

Even Rimuru couldn't take that much sass as she snapped out. "Who are you calling a beat stick!?"

But the collected Dryad only smiled gently and didn't even make eye contact with Rimuru as she kneeled down towards me on a knee in supplication and so did the rest including the Kijin, the Orcs, and lastly the Lizardman with their chieftain bowing his head showing his total support for this.

'What the hell... I was supposed to be the supporting character who got to smash his big titty secretary and maybe form a romance with the main heroine... Don't put me in the spotlight of all those asshole demon lords!' I mentally cursed out before I put on a brave smile and nodded as I said. "Alright so lets get down to the gritty details of our cooperation... And if I am to mass produce such potions I will need both the orcs and the lizardmen to help acquire materials while I fortify my laboratory."

I was still salty as fuck for literally dozens of doses being stolen by god knows how many people.
