Freya had bundled herself up deeply allowing us to get a carriage and make our way to Orario without too many issues besides Eta needing to be carried into the carriage as her narcoleptic ass was already in full swing as she had spent the entire previous night outside the inn creating a new pile of slime that would fit me.

Though... I didn't have any practice with my mana so I couldn't control the slime suit or use the Shadow Garden style of making slime weapons that would become hard and sharp under their mana control.

So it was just a kinda body glove that went under my clothes and was actually super comfortable as the living slime helped regulate my body temperature. Either way beyond Eta already ruining her sleeping schedule to make sure everyone was outfitted with the Shadow Garden slime nonsense, we had made our way to Orario where Freya rented out a townhouse for a couple of months with the rest of her money.

And across the long table we were all sat upon, Freya sat at the end of the table with Alpha and myself at her sides with her speaking out. "Now. We have a townhouse to live within for a couple of months, the rent for this well-placed townhouse is locked in at five hundred thousand Valis per month." Freya spoke while giving us all a look as she rapped her fingers across the table before she continued with her voice coming along gently but firmly.

"I want you all to make that money to pay the rent through exclusively the selling of monster stones and the monster drops or otherwise making the money through occupations involved within the dungeon itself." She finished with her purple eyes laying down on Eta and Gamma in particular.

Which made sense as Eta and Gamma weren't really combatants but regardless Eta retorted quietly. "Fine... I wanted to see the effects of monster stones as energy cores for golems and other automatons."

And that thought made me shudder. As unbidden, I couldn't help but imagine the sleepy mad scientist making a mech/golem and the battle-crazy Delta stealing it to go fight the Goliath in the dungeon or something...

My thoughts however were pushed aside as Alpha spoke up. "And what will you be doing Freya?" She asked bluntly with the blond elf giving the beautiful goddess an odd look that I couldn't decipher and likewise Freya gave the elf a look before pausing in thought before speaking frankly.

"I am going to be testing the waters as it were... I want my captain to be as strong as possible obviously." She began as she folded her arms over her chest and in doing so. She pushed her large breasts upwards with the motion.

After Freya collected her thoughts she sighed and spoke with a wondering tone. "I am going to be introducing myself to the deities of Orario to take their measure in this great game and of course as I do so. I will be testing out some people I believe are simple and trustworthy to see if Jake could make a contract with them."

I raised an eyebrow hearing that and idly I wondered who Freya would consider as a good person to make a contract with but in actual answer she shrugged and said with a small smile. "If anything I already have someone in mind... I know a good little goddess named Hestia who is an utter sweetheart. In any case, my darlings. The day's light awaits no one. Go on and register yourself at the Guild and then find your worth in the dungeon!" She finished with finality and a deep sense of anticipation she was clearly feeling for seeing our adventures as she updated our Falna.

Freya's enthusiastic send-off was resounded by Delta who yelled out happily. "Yay! It's time to go hunt!"

And the moment I saw the manic grin on Delta's face... I realized that Danmachi was literally the perfect universe for her. A world in which the battle maniac could happily rip monsters apart with her bare hands and then get paid to do so!

"Alright lets go then." I said taking a breath as I looked between my elf and beastkin party members and then my lips twitched as I realized as I was the only human before I added on. "Well lets go register and then Delta can do all the hunting she wants." I amended making the wolf beastkin's ears fall down to her head in horror at doing paperwork before perking back up.

"Boss you promise Delta gets to hunt after we do the nasty paperwork!?" She demanded as she rushed out of her seat and I saw Alpha glaring at her as Delta spun me around my chair to hold my hands as she bent over to look at with wide grinning hopeful eyes that only a loving dog could have at being offered to go out to the Dog Park, grab a Pupachino, and then get nice chewy jerky for dinner.

And I sealed my fate as I scratched behind her ears and whispered back affectionately. "Yes Delta... You can hunt all the bad monsters. In fact, I want you to hunt as many as you can to make me and Alpha as happy as possible."

Before I could react, Delta had taken me for a ride like an oversized dog chasing a squirrel with their hapless master being dragged by the leash that conjoined them as Delta jumped onto my shoulders and yelled out dramatically. "Come on stupid cat! We are going hunting Haha!" She cheered while pushing herself back and forth to make me move as I stood up with her thighs around my head.

Alpha audibly sighed with her muttering. "Oh she is going to be insufferable for the next few minutes." But Alpha still got up with the rest of Shadow Garden getting up with Episilon and Zeta trying unsuccessfully to make Delta get off my shoulders.
