Martial Glory, Chapter 26 (Patreon)

It was honestly kind of sad.

But with my martial arts literally ingrained into my very soul and DNA. I was more skilled then these martial artists that had been training for a good half a decade probably. And that gap of some five years of training. Of physical honing... Was all the difference.

The characters from the Kengan Ashura and Baki side of things were older. Wiser. And had fully sculpted their bodies into a weapon to dodge bullets and such. These Ragnarok members... Just hadn't cooked long enough at this point to be a challenge to me.

"Your Sekuken disappoints me... The Grandmaster would spit upon this derivative that tries to incorporate the powerful relaxed blows of Shaori into it as well." I said with utter disappointment at Odin.

His so-called all-killing spear of his Sekuken which was what the Grandmaster had already began teaching me to go along with my Water Streaming Rock Smashing Fist was painfully obvious as he didn't change the direction of his arm movements much at all.

With the Sekuken you gently waved your hands in constant motion around yourself to make a barrier around you that could block off blows and with your arms already in motion. You could use the pre-existing motion to greatly enhance the blows from your arms.

But his Sekuken... Was just too damned slow... Even worse, it was predictable. And that was the clincher as was the 'fight' with Hermit or Tammimoto or whatever his name was I couldn't remember. These guys just weren't on my level now with how they were too busy playing as a street gang.

They were too damn busy for the last year playing delinquent and hadn't challenged anyone of note to push themselves and with that I beat Odin down as I broke through his Sekekun.

With a crunch of his arms breaking upon my arm swords in the method of the Kyotōryū using my arms as a sword I broke his arms at the forearm and with his arms broken... He tried kicking me with some kind of karate style.

But that was clearly not his talent... And with his arms broken even though I was rather amazed at how he didn't cry out at the pain of literal bone shards from his forearms poking out of his flesh and bleeding everywhere. I just had to give him a good slap to the side of his ears with both palms and the pain in his arms and his ear drums blowing out was enough to put him down as Odin's eyes rolled up and he collapsed face first into the ground.

In the mean time as I was beating up Odin and Hermite, with the inclusion of Kasumi, Marie, Honoka and Miu had also finished off the rest of the Ragnarok goons with the girls many years of martial arts experience allowing them to cover up for each other's shortcomings allowing Miu and Honoka to use their more brutal and punishing martial arts to lay people out with powerful blows. While the rest threw the goons around and kept them busy.

'Oh... Well that's going to be interesting.' I thought as I saw a good half dozen people holding their phones up to record the beatdown we delivered to the Ragnarok members and I wondered if this event would bring me further into the Kengan scene.

"Alright girls let's get out of here before the police and paramedics get here!" I called out as there was literally a good couple million dollars in medical bills here and I was certainly not going to be on the scene for when they arrived.

Marie hearing my words made a noise of fear and called out. "Oh no! We gotta go then." And we quickly ran off as Honoka added to Marie's word of fear.

"The Police has their own martial artists to help combat practitioners... And they are animals who practice the killing side of martial arts!" Honoka said and my mind flashed to Akoya Seishu who was a monster just as she explained.

A monster who with their bare hands could rip the flesh from powerful martial artists bodies and worse... He was the worst kind of 'justice' obsessed pyschopath who believed that anyone going against him or his ideals was a villain he needed to put down for the safety of others.

We quickly ran away with Marie and Honoka needing to slow down a good couple miles away from the fight and with that we started walking back home to Ryouzonpaku while I got the story about how all that started.

'"So wait... That Odin dude threw a hissy fit after you said that you didn't remember him from your guy's childhood and so he led an entire delinquent gang after you to beat you up so you would get a concussion to remember him?" I asked blankly in confirmation with Miu nodding in clear exasperation making me facepalm.

Sometimes the meathead logic of this world broke through my expectations but thankfully Marie had something else to add that made me snort. "Nah Jake. He probably just had a crush or dream on Miu and was just too embarrassed to say it haha!"

And Kasumi chuckled with her voice having a hint of teasing at it as she looked at Miu who flushed. "So is that the type of courtship you want Miu? A grand general using his army to grind you down before he swoops in and takes you as his own?"

Miu actually shuddered and shouted out in embarrassment at our teasing. "Stop you guys! Or I am going to tell grandpa to give you guys more training."

To which I retorted shamelessly. "Grandpa is already giving me all the damned training I can take... And as your half brother... I have every right to tease you Miu!"

Miu Furunji's wail of despair as her fellow girl friends and my own teasing was a divine choir to my ears as we walked home in peace where I would be continuing my training.

'Hmm it's been a good week since I got the virus... Maybe I should do another Kengan Match?' I thought idly before Honoka cried out in pain as Miu had gotten enough teasing and went for the nuclear option in giving a slap which missed her shoulder with Honoka dodging and instead hit her breasts which made them bounce everywhere making my lips twitch as Marie and Kasumi threw me knowing looks.
