While we made our way to the elven nearby elven city, we had to deal with some of the magical wildlife like boars the size of polar bears and even an actual bear that was closer in size to an elephant that could breathe out a freezing cone of breath that would freeze grass to the point of shattering when touched.

But none of those creatures where any real challenge as Delta would gleefully beat the monsters to death with her bare hands. Which was a bit of a wry reminder of how supernatural this world was due to how in a more mundane world people would use tools or weapons to hunt massive creatures for whatever reason.

But in this world so long as your body was strong enough and augmented with mana there was nothing stopping you from punching a Polar bear to death. Even though using a mana augmented sword or any other weapon would be much easier.

"This worlds mana is primal and unfiltered... Humans have not evolved over millennia to filter the primal mana that leaks and is produced within this world to be able to do the finer spell work. It's also why runic spells are working the best for you." Hecate spoke within my soul as she was especially paying attention to my thoughts as I was watching Beta scolding Delta for not properly cleaning the blood off the bottom of her boots and tracking it into the carriage.

I nodded to her explanation and looked out the window of the carriage to see that the wall that surrounded the outer area of the elven nation was approaching.

"Alright girls you know what to do." I said as Beta leaned back into her seat with a loud exhale of frustration at how Delta was unrepentant to her complaints.

Alpha however looked to me with a sudden frown making me blink, so I asked what was up with her. "I don't know. I just felt something weird pass by us." She spoke and I wondered if we passed through some kind of weird ward or something.

Contrary to my thoughts actually, Delta's face then scrunched up and I heard Zeta in front of the carriage also groan as she lifted her hand to cover her face. "Something stinks boss!" Delta cried out with comical tears coming to her eyes and I took a smell myself before I caught the tiniest hint of the smell of the corruption from Demon Possession that was growing as we approached the city.

I sighed as a wry smile came to my face... If I could literally smell the corruption coming from the city as we neared the front gate, then that meant that were a lot of people with Demon Possession or maybe the Cult of Diabolos was doing something crazy here. Like perhaps making their Tears of Diabolos, those pills that would strengthen people and mutate them.

"Boss I smell corruption... Like a lot of it." Zeta said with own her eyes clearly watering at the excessive smell to their divinely blessed senses that allowed them to explicitly pick up on corruption better.

Alpha met my eyes, and I sighed again shaking my head. "Alright change of plans. I am going to go loud in gathering attention. Girls you need to get into the heart of the city's dark areas. Alpha, you keep Delta in control and check the sewers, Zeta you go check the warehouse district for anything you can find and Beta you check the slums for people that have been disappeared for Cult experiments or just signs of Demon Possession as an elf you will fit in more." I said with the girls nodding and then our carriage stopped as the front guards began questioning our purpose in the city.

"I have come to slay evil and bring the light of gods to this land devoid of such." I answered while Beta respectfully opened the door to my carriage allowing me to step out with charisma and Baldur's divine light subtly radiating off of me making the elven guards nervously back away.

"Sir, we elves are neutral in the worship of human gods. Please return from which you came with no issues." The guard tried speaking respectfully but I was a holy man on a mission.

I smiled as I raised my hands grandly above me and then I began to transmute the ground beneath our very feet making it rumble at its changing. "Nay! I shall not allow evil to fester within my sight! Stand aside good man so I may find the evil within this city or I will move past you!" I spoke as the girls filtered out of the carriage and while the guards were spell bound as the very ground beneath me turned into marble streaked with gold leaf with each step. The girls just climbed over the city walls.

"Look we do not welcome you!" The guard said as he lowered his hand to his sword, and I sighed shaking my head as though tired of his foolishness.

'Is this what the crusader's felt like when they raided the holy land?' I thought wryly at my hammy act but either way I smiled as I clapped my hands and then I held out my hands. "Then be moved aside." I spoke and then snapped my fingers.

A loud explosion rang as my gloves stitched with magical runes that were made out of powdered rubies and made by Scáthach preformed a multi-step magical performance to first compress the air, separate other chemicals leaving only pure hydrogen and then sent the mass of compressed hydrogen that will be ignited by the snap of the fingers towards whatever was in front of me.

The explosion wasn't a powerful thing that shattered the gate or burned the elves into a crisp or anything. No, it was just a powerful flashbang as I didn't want to make true enemies with the elves as I strode past the men and women that were kneeling on the ground holding their ears that popped from the explosion.

Before the elves could react and regather themselves, I already entered the city and with each step I took into the city I turned the flagstones beneath my feet into solid gold that stretched into a solid meter into the ground so there was no way for people to mine it up without a ridiculous amount of work and preparation to melt it down.

"People of Astria I have come to save you!" I roared loudly in the middle of the town square as people watched in awe as the ground, I walked on turned to gold and then after I spoke, I created a pillar of light around me that somewhat reached the darker clouds that were above the city. "I am here to show you all the way of the truth! Give your faith in me and my gods and here and now I will cure all ailments with my powers! Blindness, a lost limb, a terrible sickness, I can cure it all here and now for only your heart filled prayers to a god of your choice!" I spoke loudly.

But I knew people were scared of the clearly beyond the mere supernatural sword feats people would commonly show off with their enhanced bodies so like a Disney set I pulled on Hecates powers as deep solid mist filled the towns square and gently pulled the people I saw with lamed features.

Because surprise surprise... A world where people were obsessed with swords obviously led to people losing their hands, arms, or legs in duels or while culling the magical wildlife.

Then as I pulled those people closer, and my hand closed on them to heal their lost limbs I pulled back as a sword sliced at my hand in a clear indication at taking it off in a blur and I as I looked at the person attempting to cut off my hand I smiled widely but inwardly I was screaming at the site of the voluptuous pale blond elf woman wearing a cloak and what amounted to a bikini top and short shorts.

Beatrix the War Goddess was in front of me, and I didn't have Alpha to throw at her.
