When someone says, they died via a mail bomb... They would think that an actual exploding or chemical weapon was mailed to someone's mailbox. And when it was opened, it led to their deaths in some way.

I myself? Nope, I died via a Zip File Bomb as I was a dumbass who got Elon Musk's unprotected neural interface and then when I went to download a meme off facebook my brain got fried when the tiny computer imbedded in my head overheated.

So... Fuck you Elon Musk, I still hadn't gotten the Tesla Truck after ordering it like two years ago as well.

"You know... Most Jake's die via choking to death on food, and many die via a psycho girlfriend as we have terrible taste in 'normal' women. The next most common death is via technology that shouldn't be inside the human body." My sponsor spoke with a wry expression.

And his words were even more bullshit with how chromed up he was. "Yeah. I am well aware of the irony of that. But I got sent to Cyberpunk 2077 which was crossed over with DXD and Mass Effect and Starwars somehow... So I reached my apotheosis through technology and magic together." He excused himself and I wanted to call bullshit on that.

But he shrugged and said with a cruel smile that crossed his face. "Still... I will never forget those dumbass Turian's reactions when they invaded Shanxi in the Contact War and got utterly obliterated when the Chinese Celestial Buearcacy which was worshiped on the Chinese-themed world. Took very violent exception to aliens slaughtering their people."

He coughed and then said sheepishly. "Anyway! My past endeavors are not the topic of discussion even if you are going to a rather higher-tier universe."

I froze before I took a deep breath and spoke. "I am going to Warhammer?"

To which my sponsor's face twitched and he shook his head with a wry smile before he put a hand to his face and dragged it down. "No... No, not Warhammer. Why do you all assume you are going to Warhammer when we say it's a difficult world line?" He muttered more to himself.

I didn't interrupt him as he shook his head and then he coughed and spoke up. "No, I am sending you to the universe of Super Gene with an upgraded body."

There was a pause before my lips twitched and I asked dryly. "Is that it? Just an upgraded body, no other cheat while I get sent to a cultivation version of fucking Warhammer 40k?"

My sponsor's face twitched before he sighed and spoke with a bit of a pout. "Alright alright... I was also going to give you a seed of Haki from One Peice as well which will allow you to pick up the Six Powers and other martial arts stuff from One Piece to augment your abilities."

I coughed and then innocently asked while looking up into the ceiling. "Soo... No devil fruit?"

And my sponsor replied dryly. "Nope, get fucked nerd. Anyway, here you go."

Before my eyes could snap downward I felt needles extending from his fingertips stab into my chest with a molten heat filling my body as it was forcibly adjusted into a new shape.

I grimaced and bit my lip with the wound healed instantly as my sponsor then with his other hand poked me with the head and my vision dulled as my mind was overwhelmed by the knowledge of One Piece Haki along with the knowledge of One Piece-based martial arts.

Which included the six powers, Haki swordplay, and some other things... "Why is there so much emphasis on the Galaxy Impact?" I groaned with my sponsor stepping away from me with a chuckle as he said.

"Ehh, it's an interesting illusion. But I am curious to see if you can make it far more real." He said shamelessly.

While I was busy blinking away the aching in my body, my sponsor exhaled and spoke more seriously. "Alright bud. So I am going to run you through your identity, as the human federation although basically a space-faring cultivation empire. You know it also has technology aplenty."

"You will be inserted as an orphan having just graduated from the universes enhanced high school, and I have set you up with an apartment on a the world of Roca, and I alreadly tied your landing destination in the Sanctuary to be at the Black Steel Sanctuary."

I frowned hearing all that. As that would put me on the collision course with the universes protagonist. A hypocritcal asshole who had a dozen cheats land in lap basically.

"And Han Sen? Should I just ignore the protagonist or whatever?" I asked in confusion.

My sponsor snorted and then I blinked as he flipped a black gem through his hands that with all the context in front of me I recongized. "Honestly... I want you to fuck with him. I hate cultivation protagonists that happily take drugs that drive them into a rut and attack women. So yeah, here is the Black Crystal that was his cheat."

The gem flew into my hands and I blinked as it dissapeared into my skin and I could feel it merging into my body with my sponsor saying. "He still got the Sacred Blood Tier armor but thats it. You won't be able to use the cheese of feeding monsters the gem but honestly... With how weak you are currently and without any resources you woudn't be able to lock down an evolved monster in the slightest."

I nodded in understanding as I collected all the information I had on the monsters in Super Gene.

There were four publicly known levels of monsters in the main sanctuary's humanity had been within. With all monsters after being slain being capable of having a chance of dropping something called a Beast Soul that was like an in game drop from killing a monster that could be damn near anything.

Ordinary, Primitive, Mutated, and Sacred Blood. Those were the four publicly known tiers of monsters, but there was also Super tier monsters. But they weren't my worry for now.

For each tier of monsters you were supposed to eat the flesh of said monsters and in doing so you would gain 'Geno Points' which if for example, I ate a... Ordinary tier, Striped Bass. I could get anywhere between five and ten Ordinary Geno Points.

If I ate a different tier of monster, the same would also happen with my Geno Points capping out at 100 points and with after eating like two of the same species of monster you couldn't gain any more Geno Points from that breed of monster.

Likewise, I could get Beast Souls that were ranked based on the monster tier they belonged too. Kill a Sacred Blood monster, you could... Could get a Sacred Blood tier Beast Soul that could be anything from a pet that was a copy of the monster that served you.

A sword or otherwise a weapon made from their materials, armor, their wings sort of in the terraria style that would pop out of your back, shapeshifting that allowed you to take on the monster's form, and many other variations.

Rounding my mind back onto the main topic. Should I fuck up and leave a monster with the gem overnight. I was screwed when it evolved into a mutated monster that could tear my ass apart.

"Alrighty! So you got a strong potential body. You have some good martial arts that will give you a good foundation for Hyper Geno Arts for when you join a faction that has them available."

I gave a wry smile and then took a deep breath and nodded as a backpack landed in my lap out of nowhere with my sponsor clapping his hands and saying with a wry smile. "I will see you again when you become a god. Be careful and don't get stabbed in the back."

And with that, a portal of swirling light formed behind me and I held onto the backpack tightly as I was sucked into said portal and sent towards the universe of Super Gene.

-

With a harsh thumping noise, I slammed home onto a bed and I groaned as the portal ride was so short that it was honestly jarring. Like I only rode within it for like five seconds.

But taking a deep breath I sat up on my bed and took out the backpack I was given that had all my information and identity information.

[Jake Bariss of Planet Roca- Orphan whose parents died agaisnt Xeno raiders with honor. Assigned to Black Steel Shelter within the Sanctuary.]

My general information was rather simple and well kept along with a Federation Bank account having been made in my name that had enough money to pay my rent for the next month and some extra in case I needed medical care.

"Ok, Jake... First step, assess your surroundings, and take stock of what you can use. And then do what you need to do to survive." I mused to myself as I mentally collected all my information before stopping as I realized there was a laptop of sorts on a table in my small apartment.

Going to the laptop and opening it, I smiled wryly as it displayed a video on someone going to the teleporters, showing their ID and going through the checking before they were allowed to teleport into Sanctuary.

'My sponsor is cool enough to have this loaded up for me to have basically everything I needed to know.' I mused with a smile before I hummed and shrugged as I decided now was better than never to get started.

I needed to get over to the Sanctuary, as I was living in a small ass apartment inside a massive space-age city with flying cars being the only mode of transport besides public transport that also used anti-gravity technology.

It's not like I could stretch out my enhanced body and see how it handled doing some lunges and other methods of training with such a small apartment.

So I left the apartment to follow the map I memorized from the laptop to go to the nearest teleportation station which was just... Down half a mile basically from the hab-tower I was living in.

Which wasn't bad, it was only like a fifteen-minute walk from the tower.

'Damn... There is a fuck load of people though.' I thought with a wry expression as I saw the roads were packed with people walking as streams of cars and other flying vehicles flew far above our heads.

And as I was carefully walking through the crowds of people, I had a scary thought. 'With all these people all packed together... Who knows if any of them are an Evolver and just taking a walk. Yeah... That's a scary thought.'

I shook the thought aside as I reached the teleportation station which was guarded by guards who were all wearing matching golden armor though they all had different weapons at their sides.

'The armor is not a Beast Soul, but their weapons are.' I thought as I eyed the guard's various weapons that can in all kinds of weird shapes and sizes that they kept at their sides.

And I also knew all the guards from the prior information I read, were evolvers who had left the first sanctuary with at least all their Ordinary, and Primitive genes maxed out.

Which would put that person on the level of an ordinary evolver. Not even an aristocractic evolver which required they ascend to the second Sanctuary with at least all their mutated genes maxed out.

Still, the guards could fold any common civillian in half who dared to make issues so everyone got in neat orderly lines while higher leveled, or extremely wealthy people took different paths to more private teleporters.

"Identification?" The guard droned on and I swiped my identity card across the scanner with the guard blinking and seeing this was my first time entering the Sanctuary he gave me a look and advised me.

"Take it slow and just get some ordinary Geno points to get started. Try to buy a map of the local creatures in whatever shelter you land in. Alright, go on ahead." He finished with a head snap towards the teleporter.

I gave a nod of appreciation before I walked down the hallway I was pointed towards and waited in line as people ahead of me were teleported away into the Sanctuary.

Funny thing about teleportation in this universe. For humanity... It didn't fucking work as it did for the other races. Rather than being teleported where we wanted to go despite using the same teleportation technology as the other races in the universe.

We got snagged at the halfway point and would be teleported into the Sanctuary. Which... Killed a massive fuck load of people at the beginning before people figured out that hey you could eat the vicious creatures within to get stronger and gain Beast Souls.

The teleporter itself was rather... Plain honestly, it was clearly built into the ground and surrounding area with only a pad that was able to be viewed that allowed someone or a group of like three to teleport together.

No grand archway or whatever that we would have to walk through.

Thankfully though... Teleportation into the Sanctuary was free for some reason I didn't understand so there wasn't anything stopping me from stepping into the pad and being on my way with a tugging sensation ringing around my navel.

-

Coming out of the teleport I blinked as I was teleported into a small room. And as I shifted I heard a loud clicking noise as a voice went off in the room. [User Jake Bariss has been registered for room 30132]

Nothing else came of the voice so I exhaled and walked out of the small apartment and after asking some people where shit was, and who was who. I learned that the Black Steel Shelter was ruled by two figures.

First was Shen Tianzi who was the typical cultivation young master. Born of a very rich family, he had the best hypergeno arts money could buy. He had a whole small army of people bought out by his family, and he fed the meat of the monsters to his underlings to fill out their geno points.

Second was Qian Xuan whose family was deeply invested in Roca's military, weapons, and owned several military colleges. And that was also something I had to consider. As all men had compulsory service as the Alliance was assailed via the terrible xeno races of the galaxy.

Literally, this universe was Warhammer 40k, but with natural cultivation disguised as elevating one's genes with various abilities. Just instead of being ultra grimdark, it was ultra corrupt as gene warriors of the fourth evolution were basically considered gods.

Either way, I had a couple of years to prove myself in the First Sanctuary, and then if I did well I could join a military school which is what nobility did to be given an honorary ranks and not need to serve on the front lines.

And I really... Really didn't want to be thrown on the front lines against aliens whose natural abilities and technology allowed them to easily match high end gene warriors that could blow up planets.

"Oh wow you really are fresh meat to the Shelter, so who you bouncing with?" An older teen asked and I raised an eyebrow before I shrugged and said.

"I am sticking to myself for right now. I don't even know if I will be sticking in the sanctuary when I have support outside in the real world." I spoke and I saw the man's gaze tighten as he came to the conclusion that I wanted him to have, in myself having some outside influence.

I however didn't have any support, and I wanted to do my time without drama against the bullshit young masters here in the first sanctuary which seemed overflowing with. As most people in the second sanctuary learned that proper teamwork was far more profitable than endlessly stabbing people in the back.

But the first Sanctuary? Yeah fuck boy land filled with young masters I needed to avoid.

So after spending a good deal of my remaining money in getting myself a large knife/shortsword that was rated as being capable of cutting into the flesh of Primitive Creatures.

I made my move and left the Shelter following a map I got through the forest surrounding the shelter heading towards another section of the forest that was known for having ordinary and primitive creatures.

Once I got a good ways away from the Black Steel Shelter I exhaled heavily as I took in the surrounding thin forest as I came out to a thin clearing.

"Alright, Jake... You got Haki to enhance your physical body, but for now, I am both too physically weak to use anything besides Observation Haki, my Armament and Conquerer's is locked away due to how weak I am." I mused as I flexed a fist in front of myself.

But the Rokushiki, the Marine Six Styles I could use to some extent. And would become far more effective once I got some Geno points to augment my body.

So far, with the martial arts downloaded into my brain, I knew that at best I could use Tekkai decently to harden my body to defend against attacks.

And I could use Kami-e as to dodge attacks better but even then, my body was more focused more on strength than flexibility and agility.

"At least the downloaded Haki swordplay is a good foundation for now." I mused with a mental chuckle as I realized something funny.

All the 'Avatar' Beast Souls were basically Zoan Devil Fruits, so I could in essence have multiple Zoan Fruits at once... Though I couldn't use multiple at the same time.

Either way, I took out the special alloy metal sword and with a hum swung it around making it make a swishing noise as it carved through the air.

With that, I took a deep breath before I exhaled and I loosened my muscles and my steps as I headed deeper into the forest towards where the denizens of the sanctuary were noted being.

I chose this particular place because it was noted as having mostly solitary smaller creatures, that although sometimes used poison, and sneak attacks if they felt threatened. They were for example much more manageable than an Ordinary tier bear-styled creature.

'There, a Stone Eating Squirrel.' I thought as I saw the iron grey-furred squirrel munching on a large boulder that had fallen from a surrounding hill that obviously held the minerals it wanted.

It was still just an 'Ordinary' tier creature, but it was noted for being perfectly capable of eating and biting through hard stone-like limestone.

Which meant... I really didn't want that little shit to get the chance to gnaw on me despite it being only slightly bigger than a normal squirrel.

Holding up my alloy shortsword I relaxed my body using Kami-e to quiet my footsteps toward the squirrel and it was only when I got five meters away from the squirrel did my quiet footfalls across the dead leaves get the squirrel's attention.

Its tail flickered and then its head snapped towards me and seeing me taking another step towards it, it hissed loudly with its large fluffy tail spiking up in warning before it looked down at its rock... And then charged at me.

'Bastard doesn't want me to have its rock?' I thought incredulously as I finished my step and then as the squirrel shot towards my leg with its front legs out to grab hold of me, I waited a split moment before snapping my leg upwards making it miss before slamming my foot down as hard as I could.

A thud rang out followed by a loud squeal as my boot slammed into the base of its tail pinning it to the ground making me grimace at the pain clear on the animals face.

'It's primitive cultivation Jake. Can't kill shit cleanly with a gun so gotta do this old school.' I told myself as I put more force on its tail to pin it as I leaned down and then slammed my short sword through its back with a loud crunch as I broke its spine and neck with my shortsword.

[Ordinary Tier Stone Eating Squirrel Killed. Consume it to get 1-10 Geno Points]

I paused at hearing the voice of the Sanctuary entering my mind before I sighed as I realized I didn't get lucky enough to get a beast soul from the monster.

So I pulled my sword out of the monster and then I quickly dressed it by pulling out its intestines and stomach before wrapping it up in plastic and putting it into my backpack so I could consume it when I got more.

'I can eat probably three of the same species before I no longer get any Geno points from the creature.' I mused to myself before I froze as I heard the cracking of leaves and I dropped low to the ground as it sounded like multiple feet crossing the ground.

A large deer-like creature walked into the thickly grass-covered clearing with it taking deep whiffs from its nostrils and I thanked all the gods I put on some scent-neutral forest cologne that would keep the animals from tracking me instead.

As the large buck wasn't alone, it was with two does of its race and I knew it was a Bolt-Tipped Deer. With the males having large racks on their heads with each point on the deers antlers ending in spiked ridged points for ripping the flesh of whatever they rammed into.

While the does had far smaller racks that only really covered the top of their head.

'Do I...' I wondered as I saw the leading buck heading for the guts of the squirrel I killed previously.

It was going to pass by me for the guts I threw out...

'Fuck it... I got the drop on it.' I thought as I went deathly still and as the deer went passed me, my hand snapped out with a popping noise at the speed I jerked into full body motion with a loud scream echoing from the buck as I cut off its front right leg.

And I wrenched forward with a snarl as with my hand grabbing the antlers of the swaying buck to yank him down on his lame side side I bury my sword viciously into his side with the sword slamming into its spine/shoulder area just above its neck.

I could hear the Bolt-Tipped Deer's spine or upper shoulder plate crunching via the force of the blade being rammed into it.

But I didn't have enough time to wrench the blade around to look for some inner organs as I pulled out the blade to bat aside one of the doe's charging much smaller antlers with the other one getting stuck behind the other doe before trying to go around the doe to get at me.

I spun around the doe I was wrestling with, putting the half-dead buck between me and the doe and with my sword and upper body shoving the doe backward... And frankly losing the contest of strength as my feet were being pushed back through the ground.

I tucked my thumb tight against my fist and then slammed the point of my thumb and fist just past the antlers into the does face just missing her eye but making her yowl and back off at realizing I almost partially blinded her.

But that was perfect.

It giving me space was exactly what I needed as I grabbed the root of one of its antlers and using its own momentum I flipped my sword in my hand over so it was in a downward stabbing position and then a loud slicing noise rang out as I slammed my sword into the does neck/spine area.

And as a soft crunching rang out of her spine shattering, I cried out as the other doe clipped me with a charge and I felt the tips of her antlers cut through my leather and cut through my flesh before I pulled back and my sword made a loud cracking noise as I slammed the sword.

Literally slammed the sword into the base of its skull with the blade breaking through the hardened skull cap and hitting the soft brains within.

[Ordinary Tier Bolt-Tipped Deer killed- Consume to acquire 0-10 Geno Points]

I checked the other Bolt-Tipped Deer as I knew I needed to take care of the other monsters first before doing anything else.

And I saw that the buck was struggling hard against the ground still somehow so I quickly walked over and buried my sword into its chest where its heart should have been around for a normal deer, and then went and finished off the other doe.

[Ordinary Tier Bolt-Tipped Deer killed- Consume to acquire 0-10 Geno Points], [Ordinary Tier Bolt-Tipped Deer killed- Consume to acquire 0-10 Geno Points- Ordinary Beast Soul, Antler Bolt]

Even as I registered and was... Happy to get my first beast soul I quickly stripped off my leather jacket to check the damage and I hissed as I realized the doe had stabbed through into the muscles of my stomach like a digit of my pointer finger. 'Dammit, this hurts.' I mentally.

Honestly, it was without a doubt one of the most painful feelings I had experienced in both lives besides getting some second-degree burns from some fireworks that decided to explode inside the mortar launcher and one of the large splotches of exploding fireworks hit my leg.

'Ok... Dress up the kills to reduce their weight. Then return close to the Black Steel Shelter so I can eat my kills in relative safety.' I thought.

As although getting rid of the animal's organs would cut down on the possible number of geno points I could get from the animal... I wasn't going to eat the bladder of an animal for example.

So with my stomach leaking some blood the entire time, I quickly ripped out the guts of the three deer-like animals, and then wrapped them up in thin plastic like the squirrel I got previously before grunting as I broke the spines of the two does to fit them in my expandable backpack before tying the buck to the back of the bag.

"Thankfully... Bleeding, and pulling out the organs cut down a lot of the animal's weight." I grunted to myself with a wry expression as I quickly made my way back to the shelter as I idly realized I had used Tenkai to prevent that doe from actually fully penetrating my muscle layer.

But still, my body was barely considered above human with the general body upgrade I had gotten with my reincarnation.

Even though the Sanctuary blocked all... Advanced technology that had chemical reactions, and ran off electricity. Thankfully lighters still worked just fine so once I found a nice small indent on a rock wall I got in and started making a nice spit fire to cook the deer's over.

"Let's hope that even as I got a One Piece body. That I can eat their kinds of food proportions." I whispered as I carefully spun the meat I had put on stakes around to make sure it didn't burn.

With the Stone Eating Squirrel's body quickly cooking up to a good level due to its much thinner body. Allowing me to begin chowing down on it.

[Meat of Ordinary Creature consumed- Gain 1 'Ordinary' Geno point.] The voice of the sanctuary told me as began eating. And soon enough it rang out five times more as I consumed everything but the bones even though I knew that I could possibly get another Geno point from boiling the bones into paste to eat them.

'Fuck... No wonder sometimes people lag behind when it comes to consuming higher-tier creatures. Imagine killing an elephant-sized animal and being told that through eating the entire thing... The entire thing skin, bones, organs and all. You could, could get up to a max of ten Geno points and even then it's not guaranteed.'

As I ate like eighty percent of the mass on the squirrel, and only got six Geno points. And I knew some creatures were just stupidly large which is why large creatures and higher-ranked creatures were hunted in groups.

Although only one person, the one who actually slain the monster would get the Beast Soul, numerous people could eat a creature in hopes of getting some Geno points.

"Sucks that people are fucking assholes and are completely untrustworthy," I muttered as I mentally summoned the fucking arrow Beast Soul I got from the Bolt-Tipped Deer and began rolling the arrow through my hand as I waited for the deer meat to cook.

'Wait... I have the Geno gem. I can make my Beast Souls evolve!' I thought as I instinctively took the Beast Soul back into my soul and then I located the inky black Geno Gem that was the original MC's of this universe's 'First' cheat that just falls into his lap.

I mentally brought the Beast Soul and the Gem closer... And I smiled as the Beast Soul, seemingly gaining a will of its own swallowed up the Geno Gem and went dormant with myself knowing I couldn't take the soul out until it finished evolving.

'Ok... I need to get some shitty 'Ordinary' Beast souls to transform as they are relatively cheap due to how shit they are. And I gotta see how long it takes for the souls to transform to at least Mutated tier.' I mused to myself before shaking my head as I began eating the deer's meat.

As until I had the strength to stand up for myself and at least capped my Ordinary and Primitive Genes. I sure as shit wasn't going to trust anyone to my back unless I had a very good reason.

One of the easiest ways to fuck over Han Sen is expose him as Dollar as he kill steals enough that even the blanket thin protection he has from Qin Xian wanting to deal with him personally would crumble with the Young Masters just needing to make some moves like taking his family home.
