December Update *LAST OF THE YEAR* (Patreon)

Tis the last update of the year so ill just be summarizing whats left of what will be coming this month as well as some things for the new year, sorry its been a while but some fun stuff is coming to wrap up the year and this post is LAWNG. 

Rest of December

The Last video of the year to go public on youtube will be my Top 15 Ships of 2023 video which will be coming some time this week between tuesday and friday. The video and its DK are both available for NaruTo-Chan patrons for anyone who wants to watch them right now but of course theyll be going public by the end of the week. Shoutout to everyone who voted in the ships poll a while back, the results of that poll will be highlighted in said video. 

I was thinking of releasing Dream Daddy Part 1 for the public at the end of the month but the way my public playthru videos have been underperforming this past quarter i think its just better to not release anything at all. Because of this decision, again the top ships video will be my last public video of the year.

HOWEVER one more video will be coming to yall exclusively here on patreon (hopefully tomorow): ANOTHER NAKED RESIN STATUE UNBOXING! This one was the first statue i bought of a character i actually have attachment to (sexually) so it was a HOOT to unbox and i hope yall enjoy that video when it drops. Should be a welcome and very NSFW distraction if you end up stuck at any boring holiday parties over the coming few weeks LMAO. 

Lastly before the month is up, i will be dropping the Poll for the next visual novel for me to play exclusively here on patreon. The poll this time around will be different in that i will want for yall to vote for everything you DONT want me to play aka lowest amount of votes wins LMAO - but ill elaborate more when the poll actually drops. For the past few polls ive seen what yall want me to play but thats doesnt give me a good measure of what visual novels i should probably stop nominating so to cull my list a bit I want to have the next poll help me narrow down things for the future.

Plans for January

kicking off the new year will be my 2023 Wrap Up And Reflection Video series which will be 5 videos on various topics related to the past year which ill drop like a netflix series all at once. The first video essentially will be an introduction to the other four videos and at the end of said video youll be able to choose which videos you want to watch depending on what topics you care to hear about. Figured id separate things this time around instead of a mega dump podcast thats a pain to sift thru with no visual aides.

The videos included in the Wrap Up will be:

• Channel Reflection: recapping what i did on youtube for the year, reflect on things i did, tried, did and didnt like and just discuss my feelings as a creator at this point in terms of what im doing, how im feeling about it, what may be next and also discussing recovering from burnout all year.
• Season Anime Bracket / Awards / Tier List: havent decided if ill just do a full on "award show" for anime i wanted to highlight from the past year or if i wanna throw it all into a bracket and determine my personal "anime of the year" by process of elimination - maybe ill do a tier list for everything instead LMAO let me know what format you may prefer below (may do a poll on this).
• Figure Collection Tour: ill show my current anime figure and merch collection shelf by shelf and talk about my general feelings as a collector at this point.
• Q&A/AMA: ill be asking for questions to be answered in a Q&A/AMA video. Wont be any specific topic, ask what yall want but be on the lookout for that post when i ask. 

Currently debating if ill make any public videos for january at all or if ill just hold off to prep for fujofeb24 but if i dont ill likely try to stream weekly or every 10 days or so during january to compensate. Havent had a chance to experiment more with the Shipping Wars concept i wanted to do so maybe ill use january as a lab of sorts for that and maybe even have the concept debut in fujofeb - TBD

Podcast-wise, expect a new KrisPOddCast where ill talk about my Top 10 Anime Opening and Ending Song Sequences. Ill try to link videos in that podcast so everyone can know the exact ones i discuss but ive wanted to do this for a while so i hope to get it out in january.

For OTR w/Gene patrons the Natz Cast for the month of January will be the Beyblade Metal Series (Metal Fusion, Metal Masters, Metal Fury, Shogun Steel) so look forward to that in the earlier half of the month.

The 3 Episode Ruling Podcast for Winter 2024 will go up either end of january/beginning of february depending on when everything releases. I think this time around instead of waiting for EVERYTHING to get to its 3rd episode i may cut it early if MOST things im watching reach their third episode and everything else will just get first impressions depending how many episodes are out. I waited so long this past season it practically was the 4 Episode Rule lmfao.

Fujoshi February 2024

Havent gotten into the concrete planning for this yet but ive been spitballing a few ideas for a while so ill list them below - no promises on most of these LMAO

• X Best FujoBait Series: OGs will remember that the first Fujoshi February was ACTUALLY  Fujoshi BAIT February and instead of putting a focus on strictly BL and fujoshi interests i focused on a buncha sports anime LMAO so to bring things kinda full circle i would just list some series that are faves of mine that arent BL but have a strong fujoshi/rainbro following between shipping, doujins or maybe even just series i subjectively think have a lot of "fujobait". (also fujobait as a term is often conflated with a variety of  similar but different meanings that all overlap in the idea of fujoshi appeal but my personal definition and use is in the broadest sense of: "series that have accumulated a significant shipping/fujoshi following due to the perceptions of the series' execution". I personally have no issues with the idea of fujobait in fact i often times prefer it more than BL lmaolmaolmao)
• What Im Shipping Winter 2024: this one is for sure happening cause i want the seasonal What Im Shipping series to be a quarterly occurrence on my channel. 
• Vlogging Sasaki to Miyano: LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
• Why I Love Fujoshi (& You Should Too): a very vague concept i talked about in my James Somerton podcast. Just kinda wanna show some fujo positivity considering most anime fans despise fujoshi for a list of reasons ranging from misogyny to both intentional and ironic homophobia (and sometimes transphobia apparently). I dont know how this will go at this point and time but its up for consideration, may be the only time i publicly address james somerton to my broader subscriber base as i stated in the somerton podcast.

I will forever say that FujoFeb22 was the PEAK of the FujoFeb concept cause i released so many videos i was proud of and quite frankly i have no intention of attempting to surpass it LMAO so im just chillin but i am ambitious to release content after only doing one video this year (albeit that one being my greatest video of all time imo). 

Other New Year New Shit

sooooooooooooo fun little fact but 2024 is actually the 10 year anniversary of the KrisPNatz channel existing on youtube. While i consider the current form of KrisPNatz (anime/BL focus) to have been "born" January 1st 2018, the actual birthday of my channel when i started making content of all kinds is September 21st 2014. Im not planning on making this a whole public celebration thing but i am intending to lowkey celebrate over the course of the year with whatever ideas happen to come to mind. Yall of course will be hip to the festivities but to the general public ill be doing subtle shit that has deeper meaning that no one will be aware of LMAO. Overall the only plans i kinda have at the moment are to bring back some old video concepts in new forms (or the same form) and see how they do, sprinkling them in between my more current video concepts where i see fit. A few ive been actively thinking of doing are Husbando Brackets and Reviewing Yaoi aka Boy Loves Boys Love. The former would likely be a copy n paste of the old concept and the latter will likely be transformed into a bulk review/recommendation video for various BL manga or anime depending. I at some point will plan more concretely but i hope to do more things like this here and there all year, might even do an autobiographical podcast LMAO. 

Overall next year i do want to level up in my production a bit - not like video essayist or movie quality or whatever, thats not my vibe lmao - but audio is something that has been the bane of my existence the entire time ive made youtube videos and i just really wanna record better and learn to make my audio easier on the ears cause even my own voice gets on my nerves when i spike in volume lmfao. I will likely buy a new camera next year too, for transparency i shoot on an iPhone XR which i bought i dont even know how long ago and ill likely just buy a new iphone as a replacement should i find a sale, i use the iphone for more than just recording obviously but the age of my current iphone is beginning to show in various aspects so im about due for an upgrade plus the new cameras are practically movie quality so its win win. Also might finally bite the bullet and start editing videos with something other than imovie cause the latest update has caused me more headaches than ever.  Overall just wanna have more tools at my disposal to take my videos to another (only really half step higher) level. 

As i mentioned there will be a poll for the next VN playthru soon BUT i know of a few visual novels coming out next year that i intend to play once they release. I would like to be HIP for once and actually play games that arent several years old LMAO so im aiming to finish the next playthru before they come out midway thru the year. The three im eyeballing disrespectfully are Norns Dine which has a team of artists including several ive been a fan of (Haiki, Itto, Arima, nullq) working together on the art and im already AROUSED (emotionally of course). The second is Firefighter Connor which is a human/furry VN which i think most VANILLAS wont be into LMAOLMAO but i may give it a TRY. Lastly, the third is actually the creators of Full Service's newest visual novel DeeVer however i dont know a release date yet but once i do i will for sure play.

Other Natz Casts (for OTR w/Gene Patrons) i have planned include Initial D, elDlive and a buncha fuckin anime movies i have in my backlog im hoping to get to soon. 

Lastly and most importantly - to me - is that 2024 is going to be the beginning of my NARUTO REWATCH. Ya boi is planning to watch ALL 738 EPISODES MOVIES OVA AND SPECIALS OF THE NARUTO ANIME FROM PART 1 THRU SHIPPUDEN. For context, i watched naruto when it first aired on toonami back in the stone age and then eventually switched to youtube 240p yellow fansubs in 5 parts per episode then ultimately read the manga starting at itachi vs sasuke, caught up to the manga and then read it weekly for YEARS until it completed in 2014. So basically while ive read all of naruto - i have not experienced the anime in its totality and im excited to finally do so - FILLER ARCS IN THE MIDDLE OF IMPORTANT BATTLES HERE I COME. I say this mostly to say expect maybe naruto content here and there over the next (few) year(s) either in public videos or podcasts/patreon exclusives. Im not becoming a naruto channel but it would be nice to sprinkle in some rainbow content in the cesspool of cringey dudebro power fantasy fulfillment wHaT iF nonsense that clogs up youtube LMAO. Of course ill review this like i did Dragon Ball once im done but dont expect anything until 2027 ROFLLLLLL.
