Dramatical Murder Update (Patreon)

okay SOOOOOOOO the latest public release of Dramatical Murder might be my worst performing video this year so far LMAO 

(and yes i know this is top 10 RECENT videos not videos of the year - i have my own calculations as well)

As Ive mentioned before, the first public installment of this playthru underperformed as well especially considering in the past when ive asked subscribers what visual novel theyd wanna see me play after Camp Buddy this was always the most requested. Add that to the hundreds of "yOu ShOuLd PlAy DrAmMaTiCaL mUrDeRs PrAyEr HaNdS eMoJi" comments ive gotten over the years >.> this is very much a big disappointment and overall hella annoying lmao. Now before i go any further, let me say that i am not going to drop Dramatical Murder but WHAT gets released is going to be adjusted. 

The Unedited/Uncensored Patreon Videos

For you patrons essentially nothing will change: i will continue to play the game and release the unedited version here on patreon for ALL patrons until i finish the first route. Then like with Camp Buddy i will likely play a second route determined by patron vote (ill have a poll when the time comes) and thatll be available for a higher costing tier - this is my visual-novel-for-patrons model at this point. There is a small, temporary issue going forward for the playthru but ill elaborate on that later in this post. 

The Edited Public Playthru

As for the public, edited playthru: i will be cancelling it altogether and will instead just release a final route compilation once each route is completed. I enjoy playing the game, i enjoy putting the videos together and on top of that its honestly an easier and quicker project than my scripted voice over/screenshot style videos - but as ive mentioned before im currently going thru a transitionary period on my channel and trying to find a balance between content i enjoy making that also performs well on youtube so if something just flops this spectacularly its honestly just a poor decision to continue to make said content for my public platform. Like i said, once the route is done ill be making a compilation video for the general public - a highlight reel of the route essentially - but thats obviously a ways away.

Video Change for 10/20

Obviously with me cancelling the public playthru that leaves a gap in October's video schedule so ive decided to do BOTH of the videos i was considering for the 30th but one of them will go up on the 20th. The General Blue/Favorite Problematic Gay video as of right now will still go up on the 30th (honestly im partially still thinking of pushing it to pride month so probably expect another update on that in like 2 weeks LMAO) and for the 20th Ill be doing the Top 10 Yaoi Anime... but with a twist - lets just say its wont EXACTLY be an "update" of my old version of that video lmaolmaolmao.

Delays For Patreon Playthru 

LASTLY - i know this is a longass update but the K in KrisPNatz stands for Komplicated - expect the next installment of the Patreon only playthru of DMMD to be delayed for about 2 weeks. This doesnt really mean much considering there was a month between releases of part 1 and 2 here on patreon lmfao but i do intend to have releases be more frequent on here going forward especially since its now patreon only. The reason for the delay primarily is because i have about 4 podcast reviews to shoot for various tiers that ive put off for about 2 months and i REALLY want to get those done even tho they wont be coming out for several months (1 will likely go up soon and will be for EVERYBODY but TBD). Most of them are anime reviews and i finished each anime a few months ago so i want to prioritize reviewing them while the memories are FRESH but on the plus side getting them done now means i wont have to do them later AND that means more time for Dramatical Murder among other patreon exclusive content for both everyone and higher tiers down the line - but of course all will be revealed in time. 

Sorry to anyone who looked forward and watched the public playthru of dmmd but unfortunately such is the game of youtube.
