This week we're joined again by podcaster Kole Ross, cohost of the many great Duckfeed.tv podcasts including Watch Out For Fireballs, and we discuss an ep about beer and cowardice. As season 14 nears the end, it's an ep focused on the family's pets, along with a big dose of history on Spuds McKenzie. Plus some talk about Jaws parodies, 2003 video games, and our love of Database. Tap into the peppermint glacier and listen now!

I stopped religiously watching Family Guy, way back when they descended into jokes about trafficked Filipino sex slaves in Quagmire's car trunk and Prom night dumpster babies. It felt like when your mentally ill friend sent you borderline snuff gifs, that is to say, it felt grotty. We all sang 🎼Jingle bells Batman Smells, this playground medley actually had many variations and versions.

I don't know if the advertisements really worked in that I wanted to smoke or drink beer, but as a kid I did enjoy me some mascots! I was sad when Spuds McKenzie was put down as we had an Anheuser Busch plant in my town and we went there a few times and saw the mascot character roaming around. It went completely over my head why such a thing could be wrong, and I also loved Joe Camel, the Bud Bowl, Bud frogs, etc and didn't understand why they had to go away. And as an adult, I do not drink Bud or smoke so take that marketing departments from the 1980s! You didn't hook me!
