5 months ago we bought the world's brightest flashlight.... (Patreon)

...and the project we bought it for is FINALLY happening! We're making the worlds brightest lightsaber! I thiiiiiiiiiiink we can claim that title - it's 100,000 lumens and we're using the brightest flashlight civilians can buy to make it happen. We've done some research and haven't found a brighter one yet. 

We'll post final shots of it soon (and shots with the light on full brightness!) - this is it in it's prototype phase (notice the cap at the end, no diffusion for the light, and it's just lasercut acrylic arms holding it all together):

Although we ordered the flashlight 5 months ago, we've been actively prototyping and working on this video for about 3 months. In the intro, you'll see that the filming set is from before the garage makeover (nothing on the walls, no 12 ft resin counter, carboard still on the floors). BTW, all the overhead and filming lights are off in the photo below. That's the flashlight illuminating everything!
