Hi Grizzlies, what a busy day!

If you missed what we did today:

(1) I recapped the Alaskan serial killer case and added new info I found today here: https://youtu.be/dVv0fnrKcQU

(2) THEN, I discussed the jaw-dropping document about McCleland's alleged conduct, check that out here: https://youtube.com/live/SidkqY3PHhI?feature=share (I've attached these documents for you)

(3) And THEN Adam Montgomery decided to plead guilty to abuse of a corpse and falsifying evidence, which means he will be on trial for 2nd degree assault, 2nd degree murder, and tampering with witnesses and informants charges. I wonder if that means witnesses can now not testify as to what they observed him do with the U-Haul/Harmony's body, etc.? It's going to be tough to prove the charges he now faces based on her body never being found. But! The jury will likely wondering how he can plead guilty to THOSE and then think he didn't murder his daughter... obviously murder happened to be able to have the rest happen.

I did my best to keep everyone updated with these:

So, DAY TWO resumes tomorrow with Opening Statements. I will go LIVE at Noon EST to recap Day 1 and then kick off the Day 2's coverage. Here's the link: https://youtube.com/live/XwCCkyL5opQ?feature=share

Thoughts?

I think Adam thinks he might be found not guilty for the charges he is facing, which might help him not be labeled as a child killer in prison (not good for HIM)... he only thinks of himself, as we have observed. He has already been sentenced to 60 years in prison, so he has nothing to lose, yet wants to maintain some sort of control over this trial. He is also asking to be in shackles vs a leg brace and might waive his right to be in the courtroom, which he can decide on a daily basis. I think he might chicken out of a lot of it, if he can handle having zero control in the courtroom (in his way of thinking).

Whew! Busy busy day!

See you tomorrow!

Love,

Gisela.

I’m retired now, but I’m so amped up by watching the witness questioned about his performance in evaluating the Montgomery home.
