This sucks. Richard Allen should have the counsel of his choice. A) This decision should be appalled, and B) if RA is convicted with these court-appointed attorneys, this could become an issue on appeal as a part of an ineffective assistance of counsel argument. Although a defendant doesn't have a right to just any attorney they want, they can choose to hire their attorneys if they have the money, and the court can only remove the attorneys for very good cause. Richard Allen isn't rich, but these attorneys are willing to serve pro bono, so it as of he hired them. The court is treating him in a way that it would be unable to treat someone with money. The more I see down there, the more I think that something really stinks in this case. Railroading someone to close the case is NOT justice for Abby and Libby.

What the?!! What a blatant disregard for his rights. Now she's saying he cannot choose his own attorney? Someone better step in and stop this rogue Judge.
