Case Discussion: Delphi (Patreon)

Okay, hear me out.... this is just a theory. But it makes total sense to me and I'm not sure if I would just share this publicly, even though others have made videos about this before. In my opinion, once you see it, you can't unsee it. 

Based on what I'm digging up, it makes sense to me now why Doug Carter acts so strange and says such odd things: he might never be able to solve this case based on who he is dealing with! A cool, calculated man who has lived in Delphi his whole life and whose parents have a house right behind the Monon High Bridge trail! 

Shane Evans was elected as the mayor of Delphi in 2015 when he was 25 years old and fresh out of law school. Apparently, one of his buddies put in a good word for him, and he just so happens to be Nick McCleland, the overconfident FBI guy from one of the earlier press conferences.

Shane resigned as mayor of Delphi in August 2020 and became THE CHIEF DEPUTY PROSECUTOR OF DELPHI. 

So the police had a press conference in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021... but not 2022... maybe because? They're super f'd now that the guy is a prosecutor?! 

"You want to know what we know and one day, you will!" 

"To the killer who may be in this room" - stares directly at Shane Evans at the back of the room. 

"What will the community think of you" - this has never made sense to me in the context of someone that isn't VERY important. Hence my gut told me to look directly at law enforcement. However, think about it, if it's the mayor and now the chief deputy prosecutor, it makes sense why to some of us Doug Carter and Tobe Leazenby (and a few others) are such red flags! 

They must be absolutely livid! And Doug truly would think of this case 24/7 in this context- it's like an unsolvable puzzle now! Hence they need that "1 piece" ... which is maybe someone with a recorded confession from the killer, or who will come forward. If it is Shane Evans, I do not feel confident that they will ever be able to prove it was him. He was at the search party! And guess what, the minutes of his supposed meeting from February 13th, 2017 are missing! He has, from what I understand, no alibi for that day, which is why the police tell the public to think of who canceled an appointment, who shaved their beard, who has changed since the murders. This guy sure ticks ALL OF THE BOXES! And I mean ALL! Age, size, walk, reddish brown hair! The first sketch with a beard, the 2nd sketch no beard, "You didn't think we would change our strategy but we have!". I think the only significance of the sketches are to show the beard and then no beard - and the 2nd sketch chinny chin chin is unique, just like Shane's (in my opinion).

I would recommend watching it before commenting below so that you can really see visually what I mean! I started to dive into the Shane Evans theory and learned a lot and then when I saw this video, I was OH-MY-WORD'ing in Mr. Grizzly and Fury and Hannah's ear about it!
