I used to deliver wine and beer here in the Bay Area. Once I had a delivery in Tahoe that was 1 bottle of wine worth $14k. I thought of this movie the whole time, especially going over Donner Pass in the snow. Rich fuck didn’t even tip. Great episode. Later.

One thing I especially loved about this ep was how many times Bang essentially said re:Friedkin's stories: this guy is totally full of shit. I honestly hadn't considered him just straight up lying in his book to sound cool. Then I watched this link I posted and it ends with Friedkin telling a story about the bridge that just......seems totally full of shit and made-up on the spot. What an ass hole 🤣 Reminds me more of Trump when I watch him live than I’m comfortable with.

I’m the Stanger of my friend group, I too found Sorcerer going down the Tangerine Dream trail. After Thief it was all about more Mann(which lead to Manhunter and I somehow had never seen Mohicans, which is so good nobody talks about it anymore?) and Tangerine Dream: Sorcerer and Vision Quest ..totally forgot Friedkin did Blue Chips, that’s gotta be an episode if it hasn’t already?
