Hello everyone, self appointed “wrestling guy” checking in. Less than an hour in so far and just wanted to clear a couple things up. First, most people who follow the history of wrestling would likely prefer Macho Man over Hogan as a talent and performer, but Hogan was still a bigger draw. Savage was a much better wrestler and gave more entertaining interviews. Hogan’s wife was named Linda. Sean Waltman was in the NWO, but only as “Syxx”. He was “The 1-2-3 Kid” (and a couple other names) before leaving the WWF for WCW, then changed to “X-PAC” after returning to WWF. This will be updated.

Pat Patterson was the openly gay wrestler who just died. He was massively influential and very highly respected. There are a few openly LGBTQ wrestlers now, including Jake Atlas and Sonya Deville in WWE and Sonny Kiss in AEW. “The Worm” was done by Scotty Too Hotty in WWF. Norman Smiley did “The Big Wiggle” in WCW.

I saw this a few times as a teen in the mid 90s and enjoyed it, but I was completely shocked when the guys mentioned that it was a period piece.

Trump Hair / Makeup According to “apprentice staffer Noel Casler” on YouTube, Trump does indeed have one long strand of hair that only he himself knows how to style. He is also the only one who applies his Bronx Colors makeup.

Tiny's sandwich shop moved to a different location on Rivington, but I believe Covid has closed it down. It was actually a kind of more upscale sandwich shop compared to the local bodegas.

I remember they had a nice seeded bun. They did hot sandwiches with funky ingredients...it was a nice change of pace from the common italian boars head deli (Defontes) or the traditional jewish deli (katz’s). That blows that it’s gone.
