The luxury of having one kid, Stanger, is that you can go on a road trip and let him be board. I have two boys a year apart and if I took away their devices and "forced them to be board" they would spend the entire 6 hours playing an epic game of Sack Tap and my wife would be crying. They still punch each other in the junk for half the drive with devices.

One time in 5th grade I was playing soccer and was very bad at it and I was running and kicked as hard as I could but I missed the ball and I kicked this dude in the crotch so hard I lifted him off the ground with my foot. His mom was there and was screaming at me “he’ll never be able to have kids” I was like oh no (I’m a girl so I just felt bad but couldn’t fully empathize).

It was a VERY dramatic scene hahah he collapsed again a bit later on and I was like “ok that one isn’t my fault” and they were like “the pain is still from the first kick!” yikes I do remember it all vividly 😂😂

You can get hit in the nuts so hard it twists them around in the bag and they strangle to death. I knew a guy in school who got a baseball glove thrown at him and it hit him just right that he got testicular torsion, had to get them surgically untied. It's a dangerous game down there. It's amazing we survived this long. My friend's mom yelled at that baseball glove too, totally unreasonable behavior on her part I think.

Oh nice thanks for the answer! Yeah I was asking because they both not really action movies! Didn't know Master and Commander was supposed to be a series!. Strange to hear my username read out loud. It's a little clunky

I re-watched The Shield a few years ago. I'll say this much. The first couple seasons do stick out a bit as trying a little too hard to be "extreme" but it is important to remember that this was FX's first 'serious' cable show. By far the thing that dates it the worst is Season 1's pilot episode having an action sequence set to Bawitiba by Kid Rock. It's embarrassing. I'm with Gabrus though. Season 5 and 7 I think are some of the greatest seasons of television period. It's a goddamn crime Walton Goggins didn't get some nominations for the final season. Its an insanely good performance. I don't think any TV show has given me more knots in my stomach from tension. Walton Goggins and Michelle Hicks deliver such a tour de force performances that I still really cant believe it.
