I was wearing my High & Mighty shirt at the Detroit Improv Festival last weekend and some dudes came up to me and said they were fellow “shitheads.” We talked a little about Action Boyz and after talking to those animals for a bit it isn’t surprising that we as a community can’t put out even a small number of intelligent questions.

Rodgers: a great fantasy series by one of the all time great American speculative fiction writers is the Patternmaster Series by Octavia Butler. They're all pretty quick breezy reads but have complex characters and a fully realized world. I recommend reading them in chronological order rather than publication order, but either way you can't go wrong. I'll buy it for you on Kindle if you want, put it on a wishlist and send me a link

Gabrus: Star Trek fucking sucks bigtime and is super boring. watch something worthwhile like The Expanse (should be on Prime) or Altered Carbon (Netflix) if you need to scratch a sci-fi itch

Hey ABZs —on the theme of good fantasy sci-fi series: I really dig The Expanse series of books. First three books have also been turned into a pretty good Sci-Fy show. Gabrus’ recs were also solid. I second them, especially Kingkiller Chronicles.
