Chapter 9

Mr. Greenbaum´s disappearance will sure be on the news. People will ask questions, and soon, they will look for him. Try to track him and find out where he is. But Patty´s sure no one will find him.

Patty and Nelson where in charge, but not at the very top. Above them, the guy making sure everything was working as it should, the man who made sure the project was heading on the right direction, that was Dr. Marcus Higgins.

It seems, Mr. Greenbaum shared some “ideas” with Dr. Higgins. Hopes, on what he wanted to do with this project. And, thanks to those notes, Patty realized that this “skin treatment” was in fact intended for something else, something quite… bigger.

But it wasn´t for the real world. No. Mr. Greenbaum wanted to keep this as a secret. Only to share it with his closer friends, and maybe, for himself.

Now that she realizes, it made sense. Why would they need a whole machine when they can bottle-up cream? Who´ll buy such a thing? At first, she may have thought it was intended for places like spas, or health centers. But the truth is, there was something else behind it.

Patty´s tired. This whole thing of vengeance is draining her. She´ll need to make a pause. Get some rest, clear her mind. And after a day or two, she´ll start working on her new plan.
