FINALLY we get best pony of the entire show our queen and leader of the hive Queen Chrysalis. she is my favorite above all else because she can be any pony you desire so by default no matter whom you say is best pony she is that pony. now a little bit on the episode, in the first part when you paused to comment on cadences mane the mare arguing with the stallion is an OC of Sibsy (storyboard artist/lead) and she is an amazing down to earth lady who loved interacting with the fans. the other thing cadence's magic. this got a lot of jokes in the fandom over her making ponies fall in love for the wrong reasons. one I recall had her cause a stallion and mare who where arguing to fall in love only to end with them being brother and sister lol, but turns out canon wise she only streangthens the love not make them do so as chat said. and with that aside the part that even to this day p*sses me off..... twi's friends and mentor turning their backs on her when she voiced her concerns. the show is called FREINDSHIP is magic and they just turned their backs on her. as for the question to how many alicorns are in the show 2+ gonna have to wait till the show ends (or before really) to know. oh and one last parting note the guard's are useless just like the princess (for now) it will take time to see all of their real powers

About the guards, there is a popular opinion (i too think that) that the guards are mostly around the castle, because why should they protect someone who is much stronger than themselves? That's why they're mostly send on patrols outside the castle, to protect the citizens from being taken as hostages etc. - This time however, the sheer mass on changelings just overwhelmed everything... And yeah, the friends were pretty problematic here... but i also can understand to some degree how this could happen - to their defense, wedding-stress can be a real pain in the ass and Twilights overreaction since the beginning didn't make it any better. (they didn't even know that Cadence was her foalsitter)

Dangit, watched and forgot I didn't do the type up! So yeah, this finale was an EVENT! Huge lead up, special sneak premier for fandom notables, huge marketing push for a Royal Wedding, no one knew what was going on.... and it's gone down as one of the still most love finales in the show. The biggest WTF's were "Twilight has a brother" but, well.... when would we have seen him? And she is exactly the type of asocial person still learning to do this interacting with others who would forget to mention this stuff. And it's clear the other Mane 6 didn't know. Then we have a third Alicorn.... and general consensus is this was executive mandate, and the final bit of 'creative difference' that caused Lauren Faust to leave the show all together, since she did not want there to be any other Alicorn's but Celestia and Luna. But, since then, things have settled down and those have become non-issues barring a few fanatics. Then we have what this did right.... the songs are still some of the most beloved in the fandom, and Queen Chrysalis is second only to Discord for most popular villain in the show. The whole story was simply amazing! As to the Mane 6 and Celestia 'turning' in Twilight.... not seeing an issue.... yeah this wasn't her laying out some facts they ignored... she burst in ranting about how Cadance as Evil, after clearly having been pissed off at the idea of her precious BBBFF getting married at all from the start. Also, at o point did Twilight think or claim Cadance wasn't Cadance, she just thought she'd become a huge bitch. So yeah, with how irrational Twilight was.. I can fully buy everypony being pissed at her for how she did this. For Celestia, the most common fanon is that she was holfing back to avoid collateral damage among the audience, and just got sucker punched by how much more powerful Chryssi had gotten. Also, the level of musical detail this show has.... This Day Aria... not only is that already banger flex to be accurate about it being an 'aria' but still a duet (Aria is defined as a vocal piece of muscal sung by a single voice) but the music itself contains a specific melodic progression know as a 'deceptive cadance' There is just so much else to say, this was aland mark episode that added so much.... and was just overall so damn EPIC!
