first let me say the CMC are my fave of just all out any character (not in parts like background mane or secondary) their is another but that's 3 rpisodes away from here so can't say. also bro are you feeling OK? rarity being better magically then twi? ok let's recall episode 6 of season 1 boast busters. if ya need more context for that let me know. but given that episode yeah rarity is vastly more talented at fashion related magic then twi but over all yeah it's hooves down twi. but before I go into a few other things let me give my feel for this episode and why it is NOT bad (zizzle *hugs Zizzle*) we can all agree gossiping can be very bad and hurtful and yes the CMC are 100% in the wrong for doing it HOW EVER they knew this and they tried to change it BUT because of crappy leadership and those reading the paper they had no other choice this is what the editor in chief and fans wanted so depite their own objections they kept doing it. I really think this is a amazing episode for the target audience that despite what others may say you should always follow your heart. and onto some other parts. this episode finally solved a question the fandom had for so long, are cutie marks on the pony and resinated thru the fur or are they on the fur. and yeah we see snips and snails it is on the fur only so if ya shave a pony bald they have no cutie mark. and the other a KINDA derpy reference. don't worry you didn't miss her she wasn't here but her daughter was (dinky). the filly DT pushed and took the paper from was dinky and a few (maybe more I never saw) pictures show the pain she got from derpy. oh and before i go *hugs zizzle_wizzard (again), Lord4511, Leena43, Liz_loz_luv, and all the mods* (which gives zizzle another hug^^)

So, this is a pretty good ep, but yes, CMC eps, at least at this time, had a reputation for being the 'bad' eps. Not so much for being bad, as people just being more interested in the mane 6, and so seeing CMC ep's as a waste, especially since they were so often "Will they get their Cutie Marks? lol nope!" and everyone was certain they knew what their marks would be, so this was just wasting time. As to your Rarity related questions, Sweetie Belle doesn't have Rarity's accent, because Rarity's accent is fake. Not even just as in "she choose to affect that accent to seem posh and cultured" which she did, but her accent is called a Mid-Atlantic Accent, and even RIL, it's not an actual regional accent, but one adopted by people trying to seem more refined and high class. Also, we've heard their parents talk, and they sound like they are straight out of Fargo. As to power..... lol-no! Twilight Sparkle is, explicitly and via everything shown, the strongest unicorn in the show, in terms of both raw power, and variety of magical talents. By all we've seen, Rarity is meant to be more or less average in terms of overall power for unicorns. Now where she shines is in her fine control, she is very much able to control things with more precision, and control more things at once all moving independently, with her telekinesis then nearly anypony we've seen, but that's skill, not strength. For the ep.... the Mane 6 got a lot of flak from the fanbase for how they treated the CMC, people saying they were being too harsh to little kids but..... no.. their response was fully justified. What people seem to miss is that when the Mane 6 shunned them, the CMC were coming to them, explicitly to try and get more dirt to write more hurtful stories about them. But yes, this is a good lesson about avoid peer pressure. Also, no every foal in the school has some older counterpart. We've seen Diamond Tiara's dad, and that's it as far as older relatives of the school foals. Oh, and as to Big Mac.... yeah, the fact he's the one talking so much is the point, it drives home just how PISSED he is!
