love this episode it's great to learn the history behind this iconic town and to see how well respected granny smith is by all. that part with silver spoon leading the applause for her was great despite disliking her and tiara that was HUGE respect right there and the end where Mr Rich has his daughter help with the ridiculous singing to the water always makes me laugh. he doesn't care what she does or how she does it their families are one in the same in making sure all succeed and rich makes sure to keep his business going by making sure tiara KNOWS where their bread and butter came from

Ah this one, it starts off s just a, middle of the road, one of the CMC being upset over stuff that really only matters to kids.... and then becomes an epic lore reveal done in the best possible manner that makes everything that came before in the ep mean so much more. That reveal always gives me chills as Granny talks about how Ponyville was founded. So, onto questions, look, don't question the bunny ears being expressive of her emotions, it's just magic. After all, her bow does the exact same thing. The fat colt in the background has been named Truffle Shuffle, and hey, the kid is simply an enjoyer of fine food, nothing wrong with that. Agreed, "Timber" Wolves is one of the shows best puns. This ep did cause a lot of debate and questions about timeline, since back in Winter Wrap Up Twilight implied that Ponyville had been around for centuries, but now we see it's only been three generations, which just brought up more debate over just how long Ponies live. This was also the start of the fandom being nicer to Silver Spoon and starting to portray her as simply a not really that bad Pony who just tagged along with the wrong bitch, and that if she wasn't hanging out with Diamond Tiara she'd be alright. So yeah a decent ep with an amazing finale and some wonderful lore.
