I gotta agree with other comments in that it’s an okay ending, but it was so short and sudden that it feels like it was rushed… I love the story but ultimately would be disappointed if it ended with that many unanswered questions - namely what Godking-level Dao Dorian chooses and how his solar-themed cultivation system changes as he advances. Anyways, I loved the story. Thanks for your dedication to it!

Feels like there should be more as Speedrunning is the whole conceit of the novel. It's the title. Its the hook of the first chapter which ends with the hooking, timer of time spent. Is Dorian's thing which makes him fun and interesting. Like its the entire thing why people came to the novel. For the final payoff of all that to be it doesn't really matter anymore... I dunno. I was kinda expecting he would still do speedruns, but in a new way like as a hero experiencing and helping lower realms.
