I recommend you check episode 14 at 21:15 you'll notice interesting things haha. I hope I'm not being too annoying lol but Fitz's story is much longer in the novel, the whole political stuff is very interesting. Also there are a lot of details that you haven't connected yet and that would be difficult anyway with all the missing information (i couldn't either until I read the novel) so if you re-experienced the story from the beginning in the novel you would make a lot more connections and I'm sure you would appreciate it a lot if you're a big fan of the show, you could try just the first volume and then decide if it has enough reward to invest time in the others, but it's just a recommendation, I don't want to be too annoying with this haha.

Btw I think that boar monster also got transported there by the displacement event. Otherwise, I can't think of how it would make sense to somehow get this far into the palace.

It was to assassinate Ariel, not the teleportation event afaik. Ironically, she didn't have any intention to become queen and that very event (and the death of one of her guard) is what made her decide to fight for the throne.

The Boreas Greyrat (Eris' family) and the Notos Greyrat (Philemon and Luke's family) aren't royals, just powerful nobles that each control a region of the Asura kingdom. Well, not anymore for the Boreas sadly. But since the Asura kingdom is considered the biggest and most powerful human kingdom, they're probably as powerful as some kings elsewhere. Rudeus' father doesn't have the "Notos" particle but is from the Notos branch, disinherited. So notice that Rudeus and Luke are actually rather close family, first cousins.

It's not showed but actually Ariel probably wouldn't have survived the journey without Sylphy, since they were attacked once again and a lot of people died. Sylphy afaik is the only person apart from Rudeus to be able to do chantless magic, it makes her very powerful, thanks to Rudeus' teachings.
