The version I grew up with is "Mr. Magoo's A Christmas Carol." First seen in 1962 the animation is completely different from this but equally stylized. While this one had a Victorian feel the Mr. Magoo version is very 1950's jazz art deco New York sort of style and it's twice the length and includes music and songs. I think you'd enjoy it. They used to broadcast it every year at Christmas and I may have seen it that first Christmas in 1962 but I don't really remember.
