What a classic. Great reaction. You tapped into the sadness of the monstor's fate. Back in 1931, seeing this at the cinema would have been a truly scary experience, but we've become desensitised to it with all the subsequent horror movies. The follow up film you might like to watch is The Bride of Frankenstein (1935). One movie that you might like to watch if you haven't seen it already is Tim Burton's Edward Scissorhands (1990), which was inspired by Fankenstein. It's a modern take on the theme starring Johnny Depp. Another film to watch, which your outfit reminded me of is the comedy horror called Horror Hospital (1973), starring Robin Asquith. It's a bit mad but fun.

Yes! I think I'm going to do Bride of Frankenstein and then Young Frankenstein. I've seen Edward Scissorhands. I remember loving it when I was younger and actually watched it again a few weeks ago. I love it 😁 I've added Horror Hospital to the list thank you!
