Brad demonstrated he could've held his own with the cast of "Cuckoo's Nest". And a shout-out to the great Frank Gorshin. The '64-'66 Batman series would have Dawn rolling her eyes & rolling on the floor in equal measure. 🦇

The opening text said that humanity had moved underground (that's where it starts) The scientists are trying to find a specimen with an unmutated virus from which they think they can create a vaccine The time travelers are trying to find and point out the source of the virus

"Best Movie (Reaction) Ever!" I really thought that Dawn's head was just going to explode around 3/4 of the way through. I have never seen this movie, so I have to thank our intrepid Dawnie for watching it for me. Of the dozen or so reactors that I patronize she is far away the most emotive and entertaining, so I agree with my colleague Louis, Dawn for "President of Earth".

Fantastic movie and fantastic reaction. Is it just me, or is the YouTube edit not on YouTube?

Regarding Dawn’s question about the year from which James Cole is sent back in time: It is revealed implicitly: - The virus is first released by Dr. Peters (David Morse) at the airport during baggage inspection in late 1996. - We know the virus spreads very quickly because the department store’s clothing offerings in 1996 are the same ones James saw in his first mission to the abandoned, snowed-in city early in the film. More telling are the roaming zoo animals there, implying the authorities in 1996 were unable to recapture them before disaster struck. - At the airport, young James Cole is about 12 years old. Bruce Willis was in his early 40s when the film was made. Therefore, James Cole was sent back in time from about 30 years in the future, i.e. about 2026!
