comic progress 🐾 + talking~ (Patreon)

hey everyone, it's been a while! my to do list is getting shorter and i could take care of some tasks that i was procrastinating on for the longest time. It kind of feels like I fell off track and getting back again is more work than it should be, but seeing that other people also have had those issues recently makes me feel a bit better about it, because it means that maybe it's not that I'm not trying hard enough, but maybe it's just generally... the whole weight of things being a bit much. And at the same time it's motivating to see that others try to get back on track, just like I try to do that, and like together we're getting out of art block, or simply getting more motivated about things again. It helps so much to know to not be alone in all of this

I'm working steadily on the pages, too, though currently I can't show a lot of stuff I do because it's like 500 spoilers per panel or so, so I try to choose panels that... might not give away too much. And for the other scenes I'm working on I'm in the storyboard and scripting phase, so not a lot to show either unfortunately ;; But I'm working on things behind the scenes, and will show you as soon as I can!

Also, I have decided to move the update of scene 52 to the end of October so I can keep my usual update rhythm! Update day always is a little stressful for me and I'd like it to stay at the same day for public and patreon so I can have a bit of rest afterwards 🌸 But I think you'll like scene 52 and I think it shows that it took me a bit longer to do it. I put a lot of love into it all. I'm really happy how it turned out, it's like 90% of how I imagined it to be and so damn excited to go a level deeper with everything and talk about those things in the future. This all sounds so vague hahah, BUT YOU'LL SEE SOON I PROMISE!

On a completely different note, Ghost Lights got nominated for Webtoon Canvas Awards (here are all series nominations)!! Which came as a really nice surprise earlier today! I'm not competitive at all, so I would never apply for a contest or something on my own to be honest, but it got chosen as one of the most read series in the romance category, and it does feel nice to see my boys on the list! Look at our babies go.

Also I don't want to ask you to please go vote for Ghost Lights with this post, I just wanted to gush a little bit about it. But if you want to then I'll really appreciate it of course <3 But also feel free to redirect your vote to another creator anytime instead; like kan's #muted for example, or inma 🌻!! I'm so proud of kan for being nominated as well. It's a little unfortunate we are in the same category hahah but it's also so wonderful to be. I just feel very sappy right now..... both of our comics are receiving love from so many people. Moments like that come with many realizations and I'm everytime baffled and feel very grateful

Regarding the awards I'm just happy to be on there, too~ and it's just such a nice confirmation for myself. It's like a visible proof that my comic is still doing well, as long as i just keep going, despite my doubts and all ;; I really really can't thank you enough for everything you do for me and for your patience, I hope I can make up for it with... surprising you with upcoming plot developments! maybe?
