firefly date (Patreon)

A short comic strip from the other day: At night Robin „summons“ a field of fireflies for Noah, and Noah is happy because 1. fireflies are beautiful and 2. fireflies are delicious. I often think about how they spent their days together as spirits, for example how Noah loves to be carried around by Robin because he can see much more from up there. Sometimes I have to sketch it right away so I can keep it for later!

There are many scenes that can't be part of the actual plot, either because they don't fit anywhere or are just a bit too cute or silly, but I still save them all and put them away as potential extra illustrations and comic strips. I'd love to collect them all into a special book one day.

Comic update will be posted in early March! Some details, the backgrounds, and the dialogues are missing and then it's good to go~ I tested stuff for the coloration and found a nice way to streamline some of the steps and I'm really happy with that so far and will test it further during finishing the next scene!
