scene 38 wip + writing progress (Patreon)

started the storyboard of scene 38 💙 it feels unreal that it's already volume 3!! so many things will happen~

besides that i've been absorbed in writing! and i can't show it to you, but i can see how it all unravels and it gets me so excited for drawing, too. it's all been piled up over months and now it kinda flows when i write. here and there i was pretty stuck, because i couldn't let go of some older ideas... until i noticed that nah really, i have to let go of them! and now that i did i just have many new possibilities and it fits so much better and it gave more space for other important things i really want to include. 

i still have a ton to fix for later scenes but currently i feel really inspired and everything is falling into place one by one! i love when that happens.

as i said at the beginning of June i wanted to focus on writing and now it's been kinda a short hiatus from drawing, too, but i'm quite satisfied with where it's going right now. my storytelling has improved a lot since i started, and i can see where my "first draft" is lacking and could be so much better ;; 

in conclusion, my current writing progress: i've found a very nice solution for something i was not too happy with in the plot for a while. i knew i had to put a very important plot element much earlier than intended, but in order to do so i have to cut and replace some scenes in the later plot. until now i was too scared to do it because ohnooo i have to cut out stuff i've already written. but now that i did, it's so good... and it feels like it belonged there from the start. i want to draw it right away sdjfh i can't wait to show you really <3

i also picked up sims again!! a sweet patron (thank you Aleeza 💕) rebuilt Robin's apartment in sims and shared it with me so i can use it as a reference for drawing ; _; and it looks so amazing!! honestly, it's so nice. i've bought the cats&dogs expansion for sims, too, and created this good boy here and will show it all in an extra post soon:
