Noah's journal tidbit (Patreon)

i was in the mood to doodle something for Noah's journal! this weird fawn... deer... thing keeps visiting. can't it leave? 🥀

i'm secretly working on journal pages from time to time! i kind of keep them to myself until i have enough to post at once. then I can do a flip through, too. doing the pages is so relaxing for me ; ; like, I don't have any expectations or plans on how the journal pages should look, it's just spontaneous doodling and writing and decorating. really authentic with bad grammar 🙈 the only plan i have is to keep the canon timeline of the story intact and then write the journal entries like that. when i write a new journal entry i look up what happened next in the story 

oh and something i just remembered! last year i happened to take a really nice polaroid picture.... i think it turned out really cool, it looks a bit like hmm. like a ghost in a door frame! a ghost light. it was an accident but i decided to implement it into the story. in a scene that is going to happen in the near future, Noah is going to take this exact polaroid! so in a way, reality shapes this story still. just like i take things from the story and try to recreate it, too

when i think about it, Noah is... well, he's just chaotic. his thoughts are all over the place and he definitely is a bit forgetful, too (that's why: journal)

he's a master at leaving his stuff everywhere in the apartment and then not finding it again. When Robin finds random things on the floor or wherever and brings them to Noah, he will most of the time get an excited "oh wow i was already looking for that! thank you" and Robin can't even be mad at him

so luckily, i don't need to be so careful doing the pages. Noah doesn't care if there are smears and stuff, he just wants to get his thoughts out
