Whore of the Orient Apparently Offensive Video Game Title | China Uncensored

What could go wrong with a video game named "Whore of the Orient." That's apparently the name of Australian game developer Team Bondi's sequel to the hit video game L.A. Noire. Set in 1930's Shanghai, you play as a white male that goes around beating up and killing Chinese people if leaked gameplay footage is any indication. Now before you get too offended, Whore of the Orient apparently was a real nickname of Shanghai, but then again, so was Paris of the East. So perhaps this won't be a sensitive look into the culture of long gone China.
