I'm doing my best to get through this, but some weeks, the muse is against you, and it's like pushing into the wind. I'll get through this Brewster's Brood release tonight before I crash, and will try and blast through Breakpoint as soon as I can, but it's been a weird week, with the weather doing all sorts of flips and my creativity not pushing the way it should. I'm starting to suspect this other story idea I have lingering my head is causing the block, so if I continue to struggle tomorrow, I'll try and hammer out the start of that other story concept and see if that eases the pressure off a little bit.

We've had spots like this before, and we'll get through them. It doesn't help that DayJob stuff came crashing in all at once, and, like, 90% of it has been the shit I hate - meetings. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind meetings when things get done, but there's a whole lot of meetings, usually a lunch or a dinner, that are supposed to be like half an hour to discuss a concept that turn into hour-and-a-half to two-hour meetings where it feels like someone's trying to get help for the price of just a meal, and I've been getting more of those than I should be lately, so much so that I've started saying when I sit down, "If I'm here to discuss me working on an idea, great, but if you're looking for me to mystically make your problems disappear over the course of a meal, you're going to be disappointed." But what the hell, there's actual money involved.

Maybe I'll take some time tomorrow when I'm stuck to finish putting everything else into collections. If you haven't seen that, it's the one feature of the new Patreon that I really like, which will let you read any story I've posted in its own thread starting from the beginning, since I can put them in oldest to newest. I've got a few in there already, but it shouldn't take too long to do the rest.

In a slightly longer project, I'm going to try and put together a master list of all the authorized Quaranteam spinoffs that other writers have been doing, with links to everything, and just have that as a single page I maintain. It's mostly just getting it set up and talking to everyone so that we have a single point, and that I don't miss anybody. Lots of people playing in that particular sandbox right now!

It turned out Morgana's Gift won the poll of what's coming Friday, and I'll do my best, but that might get pushed to Saturday or Sunday, because I know how much you all love that story, and we're starting to get close to the end of it now (well, for a while, anyway).

Also, I've reached out to Patreon, and for some unknown reason, italics isn't currently showing in any of the news posts. It's there (and I know it's there because it's all saved in posts - like I even italicized 'there' there and it says that it is in the post but isn't showing). They've passed it up to engineering, so hopefully it'll get fixed. I've also seen a couple of reports about Patreon refusing to accept payments, and I wish I could help you, but I just use them for services. You'll need to contact them and maybe have them contact your bank if it's still not going through. Believe me, I want you here just as much as you want to be here!

Public release schedule - I gotcha. Here's what's coming over the next month and change: 10/7 - Pack 3, Devil's Details 7, 10/14 - QT2:6, 10/21 - CARP 4, 10/28 - QT: McCallister's Madness 5 (finale), 11/4 - QT: Phil's Story 13, 11/7 - QT2:7, Morgana's Gift 16.

Some days/weeks are rougher than others, so all we can do is hold tight to one another, remind ourselves that we will, statistically, get through this and move on to another set of highs and lows again soon.

I’m certain there are QT splinters out there Im not aware of. Have thought about asking if there is a list. Thanks. It’s a great universe to play in

I'd also like a coordinated and current list of QT or QT-like content. I just caught up on all of the QT-Northwest to date and it is a well written offshoot [of course, I'm a northwesterer]. I have to hope that other take-offs are of equal quality, if you have any say about it.
