So you're considering (or have already become) a member of my Patreon community. First and most importantly, good choice! And thank you! Your support allows me to spend more and more time writing this kind of thing each day, and to pick up less and less freelance day job work.

Work will always appear here way before it goes to any public sites, and many of the works you see here will never be available for free (although they may eventually go on sale as an .epub or even a print-on-demand physical copy). When I say way before, I mean somewhere in the range of half a year or so. Maybe more, maybe less.

There are five active tiers of subscriber and one legacy level, so let me break those down for you quickly. Each tier includes all the benefits of the levels below it.

Tier 1 - $3/mo - The tier 1 subscription gives you early access to all content that will eventually be made available to the public, but does not include access to any Patreon-only stories, which will not be shared elsewhere.

Tier 2 - $6/mo - The tier 2 subscription is the full story access level, which means access to stories like Brewster's Brood and Breakpoint, as well as some commissioned works where the commissioner has asked only to share them with my Patrons.

Tier 3- $10/mo - The tier 3 subscription also includes access to two polls each month, from which I'll generate a 1-page (or so) profile of the character chosen by the poll, who will likely figure in the next sex scene of the story they're in. (Not always, but generally.) This tier ALSO includes alpha access to all Commissioned Work, a month before it hits the rest of the Patrons. Keep in mind, all that content WILL still make it way to the lower tiers. This tier just grants you first access to it.

Tier 4 - $15/mo - The tier 4 subscriptions include access to every poll I do, including the two polls each month where this group of subscribers straight up decide what story is getting a chapter that month, or what new idea I'll be starting that month. Two of the content drops each month are chosen by this tier of subscribers.

Tier 5 (legacy) - $30/mo - So the tier 5 rate is still up, but it does not include the benefit it used to, unless you signed up for it a while ago. But, if you want to be generous and get the tier 4 benefits and throw me a monthly tip, you're still welcome to sign up for this tier.

Tier 6 - $75/mo - The top tier subscriber, you're guaranteed a chapter in a commissioned work each month (within my guidelines of what I will/won't do). Commissioned works can range from "Hey, I have an idea" to "hey, here's my plot outline and pictures for the characters." I ask for a little bit of freedom, but my commissions have been all over the place. They can be released publicly eventually, if you want, or just to Patrons eventually, or never to anyone but you. The only condition I have with that is that you can't ever go back - if you decide you want me to post it publicly at some point later, I'm happy to do that, but once that's done, the cat's out of the bag, and I can't put the genie back in the bottle. My commission rate used to be $30/mo, but as demand for my time increases, my rates go up. I'm still significantly charging less than most on-demand writers, so eventually my rates will probably go up again.

All Patrons get basic access to my Discord, but higher-level tiers will get access to additional rooms as needed. There we can discuss commissions, do voting or just generally shoot the shit. There's been lots of speculation about where the stories are going, and I do love to see what people like and don't in the work.

IF YOU ARE A NEW TIER 2+ SUBSCRIBER, there's an easy way to get access to most of the back content in one handy zip file. You can find that at the most recent archive post here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/june-archive-2s-84227259

Sound like something you'd be into? C'mon in and join the party! There's killer tunes on the jukebox, the wet bar is stocked and The Writer Is In.

Story Summaries

Someone suggested I also have an index of stories that are available, along with a brief capsule summary of each, so here's a list of everything that's available in the Patreon, and there will be a tag for each of them added to the post, so you can simply click on the tag to see all posts in that stream.

Quaranteam - In the middle of a global pandemic, a simple favor done turns into a life changing adventure, as Andrew Rook (aka the writer Blake Conrad) begins to grow a sizable family of women, and gets thrown into a life of luxury and intrigue he never could have imagined. (Easily my biggest story here so far, clocking in at over 300k words and rising, making it bigger than many novels on store shelves.) There are also a number of spinoffs from this story that have been commissioned, including Phil's Tale (ongoing), Piper's Prelude (a 5-part prelude, tracking Piper's journey to Andy's home), McCallister's Madness (a 5-part side story detailing the story of Adam McCallister, who helped create the Quaranteam serum) and Aisling's Antics (a 10-part side story set in Book Two that reveals Aisling's side of a lot of the events of Book One). Book One finished in September of '22, and Book Two started at the end of '22.

If I'm Honest - No good deed goes unpunished. Derrick King is about to learn how true that is, when women begin speaking to him a lot more openly than they ever have before. Life's more complicated when people can't keep secrets from you. Volume 1 of IIH concluded with Chapter 12, but it seems like lots of people keep asking for a sequel/prequel, so I started a prequel, Si Verax Sum.

Morgana's Gift - Kevin Bishop was a nearly bankrupt, down on his luck musician in Los Angeles when one night coming home from a gig, he came across an accident and saved a sorceress named Morgana La Fey. She intends to give him a gift back of equal worth to saving her life, the one thing his heart wants most of all... of course he doesn't know what that is.

Brewster's Brood (tier 2 patrons and up only) - Max Brewster doesn't know it, but he's about to become one of the wealthiest men on the planet. His estranged (and unknown to him) grandfather, Mortimer Brand IV, has just passed away, and left everything to Max, but there are conditions to the will. Since Max has no heirs, and is the last of the Brand bloodline, a game has been set up, with 100 women each trying to get Max to knock them up. The more women Max knocks up, the more each woman wins as a trust to take care of their child. But the clock is on, and minimum number of women that have to get pregnant starts at ten and the payouts up the more women that get pregnant. Of course, a condition of the will is that Max can't know about any of this untll the game is up, and the clock has run out. Let the games begin! (This is the Patreon exclusive story that will never be reposted anywhere else, although it may be eventually sold in novel form after completion.) (You can read the first few chapters of this FREE as a try before you buy here - Free sample of Brewster's Brood! | Corrupting Power on Patreon )

Breakpoint (tier 2 patrons and up only) - A mysterious island known as Honeywell Island. Is it a prison? An interrogation facility? A wayward home for lost spies? The buildings look Russian made, there's neon signs everywhere, and nobody seems to really know much of anything, especially who's in charge and what they're doing. Drawing inspiration from pop culture works like The Prisoner, Lost, The A-Team and Inception, on an island where everyone used to be a spy or a soldier, and most of them only have access to parts fo their memory, can you really trust anyone?

The Janus Coins: John's Story - A gift of an ancient Roman coin gives John the ability to pick any two women and make them compete for his love, although the rivalry is always friendly and nobody ever seems hurt by winning or losing. What the hell will John make of this?

The Threadbinders - The dwarvish Threadbinder Arkady and his elvish wife Threatbinder Yasha have been traveling the world atop their gryphon companion Quiesh for centuries, but now they've come across a puzzle they've never even considered - a woman who has multiple threads, which means that she's got multiple perfect soulmates. It's never happened before and the two aren't sure what to make of it.

The Seven Secrets of Mr. Magpie - A down on his luck man is given a mystical gift from a neighbor on the day she moves away, and while he finds he has no control over it, it also isn't too bad. Completed at 7 chapters.

Before The Storm - Sketch is a man dislodged from time, constantly at move through the stars on an alien ship he barely understands, with an AI who is long past her reset date. If anyone found out what he was, he'd be hunted to extinction, so he stays in eternal motion, always alone. Until a cargo goes sideways and Sketch finds himself being pulled violently from the ashes of the past into the furnace of the future.

The Silversmith Chronicles - One of the most powerful mages alive, John Silversmith, has lived a long and complicated lifetime that spans centuries, from time at the top of the food chain to times when he's been fleeing for his life and hiding for safety. A series of interconnected one-off stories. Currently 4 one-off stories.

The Devil's Details - (a commissioned work) The daughter of Lucifer has exactly one month to prove worthy of her mother's legacy, by turning some nephilim (humans with angelic blood in their veins) to her cause, and if she fails, her life will be considered forfeit.

A Pack Of His Own - (a commissioned work) A young man with no family or friends to speak of suddenly finds himself the center of attention at a Midwestern college with no rhyme or reason as to why.

C.A.R.P. - Just before graduating high school, Josh Turner is approached by a mysterious educator offering him a full-ride at a new start up college in California, with a massive NDA attached with it. And the FBI has a counter offer as well...

The Fertile Grove - (a commissioned work) A student at a magical university in his final year engages in an old tradition that makes him something of a legend on campus.

Amor Ex Machina - A QA Engineer in the Silicon Valley is left to safeguard a fledgling artificial intelligence designed to play matchmaker.

Neon Stonehenge - As meta as I get - the story within a story within a story. Neon Stonehenge is the first book in the Druid Gunslinger series written by the protagonist of Quaranteam. As such, these appear as "Blake Conrad" stories.

Captains' Day - Another story set in the Modern Mythos, about a young and talented mage for the North American human wizards' house, who has decided to take advantage of an old tradition that encourages spy trading to build himself a cabal of people intent on fixing the system from within.

OkieDokeDude

Could you please add The Fertile Grove to this quick hop index. I wanted to go back and reread the first two installments and couldn’t find them. Thanx!

lostone2

Could we get a blur for Aisling's Antics. AFAIK, it's not public (yet), so it's doesn't seem to have a summary... (I just joined recently,so this is my first message here).

Corrupting Power

I've sort of got one in the QT blurb that gives brief descriptions of all the various limited series spinoffs. Hope that helps!

I don't speak up much, but do have a question right now. I've had one of the cheapest subscriptions [insert here my usual disclaimers about fixed income, being on social security, and what it's like to retire as a nurse]. It's what I can afford regularly and is more than zero. I've become more or less a QT True Believer, and am daily following not only your original storyline but also some of the generally well-written same-universe stories, such as QT NW, QT Flyover, etc. What is the best page to "bookmark" in order to follow all of this universe? I live fairly remote in the rain forest a couple hours outside of Seattle and frequently lose internet connection, and I'm trying to simplify my connection and make it easier to keep up while keeping with my retirement budget. Any help is appreciated.

Corrupting Power

I've got good news and bad. The bad news is that it isn't here yet, but will be "soonish." Me and the rest of the QT writers have been talking about having a "hub" page, which will be updated with any time a public chapter is posted, and links to everyone's Patreons for those who want to support. It's a bit of a project though, so it may take a bit to get put together. Once it's up, though, there will definitely be a post about it in my weekly news update, and I'll have links to it all over the place.

Just checking in --- how's progress on the QT hub?

Gregg Hagerty

I can't seem to find your Discord link. Can you point me in the right direction?

These are great synopses, perfect I'd even say. They do everything you want without giving almost anything away. It's a lost art.
