Let me explain exactly what the current situation is and why this game being banned by steam will affect this game.



In fact, Castle of temptation is a game made to succeed Attack it!

Because the result of Attack it! is not good.

The reason why Attack it! is not good, as I have said before, is that the game experience and gameplay do not match the Hentai games.

In fact, I had this idea halfway through the production of Attack it!

Finally, I decided to finish it first, at least to get some income.

I also went through this game to understand where steam's regulation of Hentai games probably is.



The Castle of temptation is the game that I started to make in order to recover the effort I put into Attack it!

In May 2019, as soon as Attack it! was completed, I started working on this game and then quickly completed two stages.

And to my surprise, the number of sponsorships increased a lot after the release of Doll house.

It means that this game is the game that the players want, and it also means that the current production direction is correct.

So I decided to make a forbidden laboratory with the initial idea, that is, a design with three routes to choose from.

The result is that I accidentally engaged in 1 year and 2 months. 

In fact, I should not do so long, which is almost three stages of time.



This time someone reminded me that it is recommended to prepare for the steam early.

Early on the steam can gain exposure, for sponsorship revenue and future sales revenue is actually a big impact.

So it is indeed the sooner to steam the better.

But unfortunately encountered this result.



If the current sponsorship numbers were still the same as during the Attack it! period,

I would have stopped this game immediately.

But the current sponsorship is really a big amount of income that can keep me going until the game is finished, and I thank you for your continued support.

But compared to the revenue from steam sales, there is still a big gap.

This is also what I am currently struggling with.

Even if the DL and other platforms may be added into the revenue, or too much difference.

At present, there are many teams on steam earnings are far more substantial than DL.

This is why so many people want to put up games on steam, or even just put up games on steam.



You can blame me for having so many sponsors every month, 

but wanting to stop making it because it's not available on steam.

But this game was actually prepared for steam from the beginning, 

and many of the materials I used even came from Attack it!

It's just that it's now confirmed that it can't be on the steam.



So my current conclusion after discussing with others is that if I still want to be on the steam.

Then we have to change the name and modify the game content to be more in line with the steam standard way.

Anyway, it will not be the current state of the game.

But it can only be considered a stopgap, and to carry out this operation will have to wait a few years before I can try.

So I will now temporarily shelve the steam version.

Currently more important is about Castle of temptation after the content.



At present, Castle of temptation has three stages, and the next stage is "Mother's Chapel".

The problem is, in fact, this game has more than 70 H scenes, compared to other Hentai games is already enough to produce a finished product.

The current situation is that adding more content may not make the game more valuable, and in any case, it is no longer cost-effective to continue the production.

However, the "Mother's Chapel" is a stage that I promised to finish from the beginning, and I also intend to finish it.

So the current idea is to end the game with the "Mother's Chapel" as the final stage.



I know this is an unacceptable conclusion, and I can't accept this result at the moment, but now I'm really in a dilemma.

Even if I make a new game, if steam doesn't accept it, what should I do?

Even the current sponsors can't accept it, so what should I do?

I can't answer these questions.



I will devote myself to making games, besides the fact that I like games and want to make my own games.

The income here is also very attractive to me.

The teams that are also making games here are getting enviable results, and I want that part too.

With this, I can change more.

My life in the past was not rich at all, I know we don't have a lot of money in our family.

I didn't ask for anything I wanted to do or eat because I knew they couldn't give it to me.

So if I don't do something for me, that's probably how the future will be, nothing will change.

You can say I'm greedy, but this is my motivation for making games.

So steam banning my game is really a big blow to me.

To be honest, there should not be a heretic like me doing games here.

I've never seen anyone as strange as me around here with a full art program and a person making an action game.



Anyway, this is probably the current situation, and I am still trying to figure out if there is a remedy.

I may have to evaluate the game again after the completion of the "Mother's Chapel".

That's probably it.

If I find a program to work with in the meantime, I'll start planning a new game.

我說明一下目前到底是甚麼狀況,以及steam無法上架影響這款遊戲的主因。



其實Castle of temptation在一開始就是為了繼承Attack it!而做出來的遊戲,

因為Attack it!的結果並不理想。

Attack it!不理想的主因之前也有提過了,主因是遊戲體驗以及玩法跟色情遊戲不符合,

才有這樣的結果。

其實在Attack it!製作到一半我就有這樣的想法,但因為已經投入不少心血,

最後決定還是先完成至少還能獲得一些收益,

也透過這款遊戲去了解steam對於色情遊戲題材的規範大概在哪。



而Castle of temptation就是為了把Attack it!付出的心血完全回收而開始製作的遊戲。

在2019年5月,就是Attack it!一完成後,我就馬上開始製作這款遊戲了,然後很快的完成兩個關卡。

而出乎我意料的事就是在人偶館發布後出現贊助數大量提升的情形,

表示這款遊戲就是玩家想要的遊戲,才會出現這種情況吧,也表示目前製作的方向是正確的。

所以我決定以一開始的構想製作禁忌實驗室,就是有三條路線可以選擇的設計。

結果就不小心搞了1年2個月了,其實不應該做這麼久的,這幾乎是三個關卡的時間了。



這時候就有人提醒我說建議早點準備steam上架方面的事宜,

早點上架steam可以獲得曝光度,對於贊助收益以及未來販售收益其實影響很大,

所以確實是越早上架越好。

只是卻不幸碰到這種結果,就沒辦法。



如果目前贊助數仍像Attack it!時期一樣,我應該會立刻停止這款遊戲的開發。

不過目前贊助數確實是一大筆收入,可以讓我持續到遊戲完成,也很感謝你們持續的贊助。

但對比於steam販售的收益來說,真的還是有一大段差距。

這也是我目前苦惱的地方。

即便把DL以及其他平台可能的收益加進去,還是相差太多了,

目前有不少團隊在steam上的收益都遠比DL可觀,

這也是為什麼會如此多人想在steam上架遊戲,甚至只在steam上架遊戲。



你們可以責備我為什麼每個月有這麼多贊助,卻因為steam無法上架而想停止製作。

但這款遊戲其實一開始就是為steam在做準備,我使用的素材甚至有不少都來自Attack it!。

只是目前已經確定無法在上架了。



所以目前在跟其他人討論後的結論就是,如果還是要在steam上架的話,

那得改名並修改遊戲內容了,以更符合steam規範的方式去上架。

反正不會是目前遊戲的狀態了。

但也只能算是止損而已,而要進行這樣的操作也得等幾年後才能嘗試了。

所以現在會暫時擱置steam版本的東西。

目前更重要的是關於Castle of temptation之後的內容。



目前Castle of temptation就三個關卡,而下個關卡是"聖母禮拜堂"。

現在的問題是,其實目前的H場景已經超過70個,對比於其他色情遊戲已經是足以製作成成品的量了。

而目前的情況是,再繼續加更多內容可能也不會讓遊戲更有價值,總之再繼續製作已經不符合效益了。

只不過"聖母禮拜堂"是一開始就承諾要完成的關卡,而我也打算要完成它。

所以目前的想法是會以"聖母禮拜堂"作為最後關卡結束這款遊戲。



我知道這是無法接受的結論,目前我也無法接受這種結果,但現在真的是進退兩難。

就算我做了新遊戲,如果steam又不接受那該怎麼辦?

甚至連目前的贊助者也無法接受,那又該怎麼辦?

這些問題我也沒辦法回答。



我會全心全意投入製作遊戲的行列除了我喜歡遊戲、想製作自己的遊戲以外,

在這裡的收益也是很吸引我的。

同樣在這裡製作遊戲的團隊都拿到令人羨慕的成績,我也很想要這部分,

有了這些才能改變更多。

我過去的生活一點都不富裕,我知道我們家裡沒甚麼財產,

想要甚麼想吃甚麼我都不會去要求,因為我知道他們也沒辦法給我,

所以如果我不做點甚麼,那未來大概就是這樣了,沒有甚麼變化。

你們可以說我貪心但這就是我製作遊戲的動力。

所以steam無法上架對我的打擊真的非常大。

說實在不應該有我這種異端在這裡做遊戲,

因為我做到現在也再沒看過周圍有像我這麼奇怪的人在這邊美術程式全包,一個人搞動作遊戲。



總之這大概就是目前的情況了,到現在我還是再想到底有沒有補救辦法。

可能得到"聖母禮拜堂"完成後再評估一次狀況了。

大概就是這樣吧。

如果這段期間有找到程式合作,就會開始計畫新的作品。

嘛 別太沮喪 一堆人支持著你 ,做的東西很有料、有想法,STEAM只是一個挑戰關卡而已,多少創作者也是找到方法跨過去的,見過幾位 Patreon直接被拔,然後花1個月時間+積極寄信通知訂閱者,弄個Discord來留人,自己的退路還是要加減留,免得跑3點半
