May Plans & Patreon Announcements (Patreon)

Happy May! This will be a bit of a longer news post, and it is going to be public facing as it involves some updates to my Patreon's structure.

First, let's talk about this month's releases:

I am resting a bit and giving myself some mental downtime, but I am also feeling a bit better and I will work steadily on projects, aiming to get Oni part 2 done this week. I consider this part of April's releases and will not be counting it as this month's work load.

For this month's releases, I plan on 2 full length audios (in addition to the Oni):

1. The poll winner from last month (orca girl part 2). This will NOT be a VR video, that model is not done. I will continue her story & character building via my traditional audio format.

2. The lava golem/lava slime girl that has been on my poll for a while. She will be replaced with a new character on the poll selection.

Additionally, I will be working on a shorter SFW release for my YouTube channel, which is basically an in-character lore introduction to Sasha's Castle. I've meant to do it for a while, but haven't gotten around to it. I think it will be a fun, short side project for me!

Beyond that, the rest of the month will have me steadily working on people's personal audio rewards and perhaps prepping material for next month's recordings. I want to give my voice a rest and do a lot of script writing. 

I am also going to spend time doing spring cleaning, which involves me doing a lot of backend work that I've been putting off, but which is stressing me. Mostly updates to my discord, preparations for updates to my stream (I'm rebranding my vtuber account), and other personal things I need to handle.

As usual, expect a poll and tier 4 patron DMs to get sent near the 5th.

Next, let's talk about updates to the Patreon and my philosophy in doing so:

First and foremost, I want to state that I will never take anything away from existing patreon tiers. My $3 tier will never have content removed from it. But, I also feel that tier is valuable enough as it is that it doesn't need to be expanded upon. Instead, I want to look toward improving rewards available at the $5 and higher tiers.

The first step I will be taking toward this is to create a MegaUpload archive for all $5 and higher tier patrons.

This archive will contain a full library of all of my existing works, better visually sorted, and in higher quality. That is to say, I will be releasing .flac versions of all existing audios and providing the full .psd files for all art.

Again, nothing will be taken away from the $3 tier. That tier has always received all .mp3 files and .pngs from every release, and will continue to do so.

This new archive will be accessed via existing discord integration, where I've added a new channel for Patrons that has a link to the archive, as well as the password, which I will change every month.

The archive link is already available on Discord but isn't finished, I'm currently working through the 2022 uploads. I expect to have it fully completed by the 5th of this month.

If you are unable to use Discord integration and you are a Patron of the correct tier, please DM me and I will provide the month's archive access.

Lastly, I want to talk about the Orca Girl 3D Model and retroactive bonus art,

I expect to be able to share more WIPs of the 3D Model this month. The artist is proceeding at a good pace. I am hoping to be able to use it next month and start on VR videos again, but in a higher quality than before. I have new technology that I need to experiment with. I don't have much more to say, but it's underway steadily!

Regarding the bonus art, the poll was overwhelmingly in favor of retroactive art, but I noticed a degree of concern from others. Rest assured that the additional art for old releases will not affect any upcoming releases. Expect one or two images for old ASMR releases per month, as Pride now has additional time to work on my projects.
