we're getting very close to having the first night mechanics fully implemented! Thanks to banana inquiry now jones can follow you around without any hitches in the pathing system, resulting in surprises like this ambush in the library!
i know it doesn't sound like much, but now jones can follow you through doors too, so it won't be easy running away from him now. Although , it actually kind of is in a sense ; previously jones had a speed of 2 vs your speed of 1 , meaning that if he caught up with you you wouldn't be able to ever get away. We tested this out a bit and it seemed a bit annoying so now he just moves at your speed, so you have a bigger maneuverability while escaping.
as far as the graphical side goes, i worked on fatso jones' thralls encounter this week. I gave them a couple attacks, a shoulder check that probably has the same effect as jones' belly bump
and an attack lower your focus level. These boys are really messy, heh | 3
of course, just as you can seduce and tease jones to the point of overwhelming him and force him to stop chasing you, you can do the same to the thralls, with the result of them getting quite intimate with eachoter |3
