TENTACLE MONSTER: Well in answer to your first question, he was another soul we had wanted to save. I suppose that ship has sailed now, thanks to you. Now that you’ve got your hands on him, I guess I’d like to see him made into a big handsome bearded minotaur (do you know mythology?) with big muscles and a bigger gut. But how could we possibly trust that he’s actually our “vessel” and not yours? Why would we want to give you another set of eyes to see through, hands to corrupt through? You’ve already established that our goal to see these souls survive and fly free with their minds intact isn’t very important to you- in fact you’ve deliberately worked against that goal of ours at nearly every turn. So how could we possibly trust a vessel made by you?

Brother, you should know, fingers without thought to guide them can only hope to destroy or, at best, deform. You have no sense of aesthetic beyond what you assume fits our taste, BUT nimble fingers lead by a creative mind can make BEAUTIFUL ART. Even if our mind is scattered right now, leave the motive of your art to us from now on

GASTRO: (After you wake up, assuming you do wake up) It might not seem clear to you right now but Harvey is clearly not entirely himself. While there might be some niceness in him, changing to a happy and handsy sort of guy after seeming so abrasive (and averse to affection) earlier is clearly not a natural change. You asked why he’d be mad, and the answer is because he’s going to come to his senses eventually, and when he does there’s probably going to be heavy backlash. Just try to have patience with him and don’t take personally anything he says out of anger.
