patreon devlog update 23: mudded up (Patreon)

yo peeps , sorry for the late update, i had guests over. Anyways, we're back to the circus update, to update the design of some of the characters after that fateful  dunk in the lethe river.

so at first i wanted to go with andy just not wearing his signature jacket and bandana, but ultimately we went with the naked chest one with all the mud stains to give him that "just crashed my car into the river" look

so this week i worked on his animations: 

i'll probably have to do some emotes for andy in this state. but for now this is sufficient for  the sake of testing out stuff.

next, you won't be able to immediately access the circus big top, because someone is blocking it, so i drew the bg for it first, that is supposed to be a close up of the base of the little hill where the big top rests.

of course just a sign and some supplies wouldn't be much a challenge for the boys, and the reason why they can't go on is because this place is guarded by an old aquaitance

namely an amnesiac piercer, who like our boys is completely devoid of his memories. Will he still remember he's mad at them?

...nah he seems pretty chill.
