nothing much going on with zap & andy this week, i'm kind of finishing up everything that needs to be done for the demo and waiting for stuff to be implemented, so i went back and polished and added some things that needed to be done

added some much required buttons on the title screen and animated them, don't mind the fact the title is positioned too much to the right, in the game it'll be more centered. Do you think it reads well? there's a lot of very vivid colors and i'm afraid it might look a bit messy.

then i animated the fence burning in the trippy version of the motel. You need to burn it up to access the ladder that is behind it. This was actually really fun and not too hard to do! i tried to imagine how an actual fence of matches would burn up while trying not to be too realistic.

i almost forgot to animate an actual sprite version of sid's ideal ultimate form! you guys chose  the second option from this list of forms , so that's what i went with:

i altered it a bit to make it more similar to sid, but in the end it's pretty different nonetheless, ah well. i kind of like it, and it was surprisingly easy to animate, despite all the tatoos and whatnot.

anyways, that's it for today, i'll keep you posted for more! see ya babes!

Everything looks great so far, so well animated and exciting to look at that it just leaves me giddy for the eventual final product, but in regards to the colors of the menu... yeah they seem a bit garish as they are now, you could experiment darkening either the shades of red only in the background so the buttons and the main part with the title could pop out more, or you could darken everything except the buttons, and make the main splash art slightly smaller so it can fit better centered without overlapping with anything.

You ask if the title page reads well. I like the title page a lot. it feels like one of the old SNES cartoon game title screens a bit modernized. If I had to critique something about it, the “D” and “Y” in “Andy” fuse a bit and make the “Y” a bit difficult to read.

Wow choosing a form is so damn hard because literally I love all of them
